I posted this on my tumblr too except for idk if it posted CAUSE TUMBLR IS A BITCH FROM HELL

Sean and Raven sat on the couch, the latter thinking of the many ways to kill the boy in front of her that had come to the duo in the middle of watching The Sound Of Music, at the best part, right in the middle of them singing Mi.

"Hank."

"I-I don't know what I was thinking, I don't think I was at all considering this might all turn into catastrophic failure if my hypothesis is correct-"

"Hank."

The boy with glasses turned to the blue girl, who gave him an unimpressed look.

"What are you talking about, first of all?"

"Seriously, man." Sean commented. "What's your bag?"

Hank readjusted his glasses. "I may, or may not, have wrote Alex a letter convincing my love for him."

"Far out."

Raven blinked at him. "And?"

"What do you mean 'and'? This is the most scariest situation I have ever been in in my life!"

He threw his hands up then stuck them in his hair, messing it up even more from when he had been running them through it before.

Sean snorted, his eyes red. "Are we going there, man?"

Hank looked at him and stared, before dropping his hands and crossing them over his chest. "I stick with real things."

"Bummer." Sean whispered, but the boy didn't seem to hear him or didn't care.

"Usually facts and figures."

"We know."

"Let me finish. When information is in its place, I minimize the guessing game, and guess what?"

"What?" Raven deadpanned.

"I don't like guessing games."

"Anything else?"

Hank ignored her, "Or when I feel things before I know the feeling."

Raven snorted.

Hank looked at the two, Sean looking at his hands oddly as if just seeing them for the first time.

He ran a hand through his hair. "How am I supposed to operate if i'm just tossed around by fate?"

Sean looked up. "It worked for mom and dad."

Mom and dad equals Erik and Charles.

Raven patted his back, a shit eating grin on her face. "That's right, Sean."

"Alex and I barely know each other, like strangers, we just met." Hank went back to his crisis. "He might ask questions about myself before I decided them, or he might sit to close, or call the waiter by their first name or eat Oreos but eat the cookie before the cream, like, who does that? But what scares me the most-"

"Jesus, Hank, take a breath-"

"-is if when he sees me is if he doesn't like it and if he runs away before I can hide from it, what happens then?"

"I don't know, dude-"

"What if when he knows me, he's disappointed? What happens if I give myself away, only to get it back?"

Hank paced.

"You're making me dizzy, Hank-"

"I couldn't live with that!"

Raven stared at him, her face impassive but her eyes wide.

"So I think i'm just fine in my shell shaped mind that way I get the best view. So when he sees me, I will want him to!"

Hank turned around so fast he could've gotten whiplash, and Sean slowly walked towards him, resting his hand on his shoulder when he stood in front of him.

"Dude, don't you think you're being a little- I mean, just a tad-"

"I'm not defensive!"

Sean backtracked to the couch quickly, and he fell over it to get away from Hank.

Hank breathed through his nose, readjusting his glasses on them.

"I'm simply being cautious. I can't risk reckless dating due to my miscalculating, cause we all know what would happen if I do."

"I'm pretty sure Alex won't mind since he's fine with Charles and Erik-"

"I've seen in movies- most made for television- you cannot be to careful in this world when it comes to sharing your life. He could be an actual criminal! I mean, he was in jail-"

"Alex wouldn't hurt someone on purpose that didn't deserve-"

"He could be some sort or psychopath who escaped from an institution, somewhere where they don't have other boys, or he could have masterminded some way to find me, he could be colorblind!"

"Ha-"

"How untrustworthy is that? He could be less than kind, or even worse, he could be very nice, have lovely eyes," he daydreamed, "and make me laugh, and come out of hiding."

Raven and Sean looked at each other as Hank turned his back to them.

"What do I do with that? Oh, god."

Raven gave Hank a worried look, Sean mirroring her.

"What if when he sees me I like him and he knows it?"

As if you aren't already, Raven thought.

"What if he opens up a door inside my mind and I can't close it? What happens then?"

"You go on a second date-"

"What if when he holds me-"

"Kinky."

"My heart is set in motion? I'm not prepared for that, i'm scared of breaking open. But I still can't help from hoping to find someone to talk to like Alex who loves the way I am so when he sees me he wants to again."

"That's the cutest and sappiest shit i've ever heard in my life."

Hank turned around to see Alex in the doorway.

The boy walked in and came up to Hank, delivering a kiss on his cheek before pressing the letter into hid chest.

"Pick me up at eight."

With that, he left the room in silence.

Until Raven and Sean wolf whistled.
