Maples pov:

"Ummm if I say no would you believe me?" I fidget nice I take control again

"No probably not" mike says studying my nervous as the kids find there escape and excuse themselves.

"Well yes...I am a werwolf" I sigh running a shaky hand through my hair

"H-how?" Stutters Mike

"How what? How I hide my scent" I question

Replying with a slight nod

"Easy, why do you think your dad gave me and my kids orange juice?" I ask

"Wait my dad knows?" Mike asks a bit stunned

"Yeah he knew my parents" I say not even feeling sad about there death

"Why didn't he tell me" he asks himself more than me

"Because I told him not to" I explain

"Why don't you want me to know your a werewolf?" Argues Mike

"Because I thought you would leave me alone and go mark another wolf. I'm a fucking mum for fuck sake" I exclaim loosing my cool for a second

"I don't care if your a mum or married your mine and I'm not letting you go" mike says as his eyes darkens

"Well accept it because I have my wolf has. Be grateful for what you have because one day it all will be gone and if I stay it will probably all be obliterated." I say through gritted teeth

"Your wolf has not" growl Mike

"My wolf has and sooner your selfish wolf realises the sooner you thank my ass and I'm out of this hit hole" I say as my anger rises

"You do not disrespect me" growls Mike once again taking a step forward so he is in front of me

"I can do as I want your tone won't work on me. I'm not part of your pack and I never will. I rejected you for a reason." I say stepping closer enough that our chest touch

"No you will do everything I want you to because you will be my Luna and you will accept me none of reasons can change me mind" Mike says as I see him struggle to control his wolf

"Two words for you Mike" I say spitting his name, "FUCK YOU" I growl. How dare he disrespect my family

"Never speak to me like that again" Mikes wolf growls as he slams me against the counter.

"You forgot one thing dear alpha. I'm stronger than you" I say as I let Skylar forward and push Mikes wolf off

"About time we met, I'm Ryder" Mikes wolf smirks

"And I'm not interested" Skylar fires back

"Excuse me" Ryder asks as his smirk falters a bit

"I'm only here for business, we aren't interested in mates. We can't be...not with the war about to break"Skylar says

"War?" Ryder says completely clueless

"Do you dream? Has the moon goddess not shown you the world torn down by" Skylar chokes up a little, "by the rogue king?"

"The rogue king has been off the raider since they attacked bloody moon pack" Ryder argues

"Far out am I doing very thing here" I scream at the roof but really the angels

"Are you insane or something because you don't want a mate. You believe there is a war and now you speak to the sky?" Ryder asks

"I am insane. But I know one thing is the rogue king is coming here. Because....because" of me" because he attacked my pack and he wants to tear down others" I semi lie

"Your pack" Ryder repeats as Mike shifts back and follow suit

"Yes my pack" I reapeat

"Your a Luna?" Mike chokes

"Was...yes I was a Luna. That is one of the reasons I don't want to be one" I nod

"You didn't like the power?" Mike asks

"No I don't like the responsibility" I correct

"But you have kids that's all the responsibility you can get" mike argues

"They don't do anything except eat, run and train they are as easy as pi" I smile

"You...I" mike stutters having no idea what to say

"I'm going to go....sleep" I lie

"Sure sure" mike says waving me off as he tries to wrap all the information around his head

"Ok" I say patting his back before heading up the stairs and collapsing onto my bed and for once I let sleep take over even though I wasn't going to let myself face what I'm bringing into this vulnerable pack.
