"Yeah it's Saturday dummy!" Lauren's voice screeched through the phone speaker after Rebecca's. it was apparent that Shawn was late, very late. "Yeah gimme a couple of minutes and I'll be ready to go..." Shawn's tired voice said, concluding the phone call. Shawn pulled himself out of bed and meandered downstairs in hopes of cereal and coffee. "Mornin' fat face!" Shawn's older brother called out to him. "Getting ready for another girlfriends day out huh?" He smirked at his so called "cleverness.""haha, Blake." Shawn said slowly and rather carefully. So as not to raise suspicion. "Seriously though fat face when are ya gonna ask out that Lauren girl?" His retort hit Shawn in the back like a clod chill. "If you know anything about my limited social capacity I already did!" This was obviously a lie so he could avoid conversation. Blake just replied with a roll of the eyes and buried his face in his breakfast. After some toast and coffee Shawn decided it was time to get ready to go. Rebecca and Lauren would be here any minute after all, and Shawn didn't want them talking to Blake or his parents. After he was ready he decided to take extra precautions and wait on the front porch. Even though it was Saturday, and he would be spending his day with friends, he felt like all he wanted to do was go back to bed and just vegetate while he played on his computer." I'm not anti-social," Shawn thought while waiting,"I just don't like being around other people. No, no wait isn't that the definition of anti-social?" Shawn sighed and decided not to think about it too much. After all, he's supposed to be having a nice day with friends, not a depressed day like most others. And beyond that he really doesn't want another anxiety to cope with all the time. He has enough medicine to help with that to begging with. As he finished his thought, trisha, his older sister in law, pulled up. Probably to pick up Blake."morning Shawn!" She enthusiastically said. " Hey trish,"said Shawn. He liked his older sister. He had always wanted one believing they were gentler and kinder than all older brothers. It was one of the few things he enjoyed, his sisters visits. But as trish went in the house, Rebecca and Lauren pulled into the drive way. "C'mon let's go!" they both shouted in tandem."Oh well,"Shawn thought,no sister visits. He hopped into the backseat with the two girls and they sped off towards the mall.
