"Shawn?" it was Sunday morning and that unforgettable "mom" voice was distinct. "Shawn it's time to go.." oh great, church. It wasn't that he didn't love god or anything, he just really hates how much "non profit" the priests make. again Shawn awoke with a simple,"mmph." he "quickly" got dressed and ate breakfast and left with his overly religious mom to church. As soon as it was over Shawn's mom happened to see Rebecca's mom and they all decided to go get some sundaes. As their moms chatted away about things like the days lesson and how the husbands are and your dress looks nice, Rebecca just stared at them." It's weird isn't it?" She asked. "Huh"?,Shawn replied bluntly, he had hardly talked all day. " I mean they just talk and talk and talk, that's it!" She replied."it's like they have a disease!" "I've learned to tune it out."Shawn said as e went back to finishing off his sundae. "you don't tune me or Lauren out..." Rebecca replied," especially Lauren..." She said with a smirk. " Shut up", said Shawn. His sudden icyness caught her off guard."you said you could keep a secret now keep it, even if she's a million miles away just don't, ok? At all." Now this really caught Rebecca off gaurd. "Umm ok..." She replied. She wished she hadn't offended shawn,She really did like him. It was a shame he liked Lauren though. She decided to just go back to her sundae and not worry about it as much as she always seemed to do. "Look," Shawn said looking up for the first time," I'm sorry about sniping you like that, it's just a touchy subject okay?" She replied with a nod and that was that.
