I'll tell you a bit about myself. My name is Jennifer, I'm from a small town in Texas. I'm a tall brunette, big brown eyes, athletic, long hair, long eyelashes, and not to be cocky, but amazing eyebrows. I don't seem like the shy girl, but I am. I'm in love with this guy from Vine, an app that allows you to make six-second-videos. He's not really famous on the app, he only has 3,000 followers. But I totally fangirl when I hear his name, "Jack Gilinsky". One of the reasons I didn't want to move to Omaha, Nebraska was because it's completely different from Texas. I am going to miss my friends and family, but if moving here benefits my parents financially, then why not give it a shot?

"Jen come help open the door!" my mom yelled from downstairs. I groaned. I'm tired of unpacking!! We've been unsealing boxes since last week! I jogged down stairs to help. As I opened the door for my mom, I looked across the street. It couldn't be? The vine guy? No! He can't be my neighbor! "What's wrong?" my mom joked. "Hey, I need you to come with us to hand out some invitations to each of our neighbors for our cookout later!" she continued. I couldn't believe that my parents were going to invite Jack Gilinsky and his family to a barbeque tonight! I ran upstairs as I told my mom that I'd be downstairs in a minute. It was Sunday morning, of course I look like crap! I put on some distressed jean shorts and a grey Abercrombie shirt with my favorite pair of creamy white Vans. I brushed my long hair and did my makeup. I sprayed some perfume and ran downstairs. "Ready?" my mom asked. "Yes!" I excalimed. "Mom, can I drive?" "Fine, get your car keys," she replied while smirking a bit. I looked through the drawer where we keep all of our keys, and found mine. As we walked outside, I unlocked my white 2014 Jeep Wrangler. I got in and connected my phone to the aux cable and played music. "Mom, can we start handing the invitations at the end of the street?" I asked. "Sure, honey!" she replied. "I drove off to the song "Treasure" by Bruno Mars. We stopped at house #1. The neighbors seemed kind of nice. They had a daughter that was about my age as well. After we gave them the invitation, they thanked us and told us they would be there. As my mom and I walked to the car, I mentioned, "Hey, this might not be a bad idea after all!" She smiled, "Of course it's not, it'll be fun! Especially because there are a couple of people your age living around here. Anyways 5 more houses to go and then we'll start across the street, got it?" I nodded. It didn't really take long going finishing our street. Before I knew it, we were already in front of Jack's. I was honestly scared. "Mom, can I stay in the car for this one?" I asked. "Don't be silly, get off!" she responded while laughing. I knocked on the door. I looked at my feet and my shoe was untied so I started tying it. I heard the door open, but I didn't want to look up. "Hi, good morning!" my mom said. I noticed it was a guy, since he had hairy legs. I was still tying my shoe. "Goodmorning!" he replied. Damn. He had a hot voice. "We are the new neighbors across the street, and we'll be having a barbeque later on tonight, would you let your parents know? We would really like for you all to join us!" she explained. She dropped the invitation on the floor as she handed it over. He looked down at me as I finished tying my shoe and we made eye contact for a while. It was him. It was Jack Gilinsky.
