Ch.4

Short chapter but intense
Nya's POV
I sighed as I lied Misumi down in her makeshift bed on the small bed. We had her birthday party here, but it wasn't all the same. Cole and Kai kept on glancing at each other, and I could tell they weren't happy with each other. Whenever we arrived, Kai was looking terrible. He was all pale, he almost looked a little green.
"I've never seen him like that before..." I muttered to myself, holding my head.
Suddenly I felt warm arms surround me, and no melted back. Jay kissed my cheek, and I giggled at his silliness.
"Kai will be alright babe," He said taking my hand and leading me out of the room. "Let's let Sumi sleep, she's had a long day."
I nodded and allowed Jay to pull me out of the room. When we walked in the living room, Kai and Cole stopped talking immediately and looked away from us. I smiled grimly, and sat down on the loveseat with Jay. Suddenly, everyone came piling into the room. I got up and hugged Skylor, but then she made a grunting sound.
I pulled away, and saw a small baby bump.
"Oh my God, Skylor!" I exclaimed hugging her more carefully. Skylor laughed and hugged me back.
"It's good to see you too Nya." She said while I helped her sit on the couch.
Ronin came and sit beside her, holding her hand. I awwed and then began talking to Skylor some more.
Jay's POV
It was nice to see Nya smiling and talking, sure she is happy down at the house but I know she missed everyone. I did too, and now look. The whole gang's here. I waved to Echo, Zane, and Pixal as they sat down. I noticed that Echo sat farther away than usual, huh...That's weird.
"It's nice to see everyone here."
A voice cut off everyone's conversations, and we all looked up. Sensei Wu, looking as "tough" as ever was standing in the front of the room, with Misako and Lloyd by his side.
"Nice to see you, Master Wu." Cole said grinning, but I knew it was fake.
I knew by the way Kai was looking down there was something wrong, but that wasn't the only thing that was off. Kai looked deathly pale, and his head lolled to the side. Lloyd rushed to his side, I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed.
"Kai, can you hear me?" Lloyd asked, holding Kai's face up.
Oh my God...He looked dead. Of course Cole freaked, and he began to softly shake his boyfriend.
"Cole don't, that will only make his condition worse!"
Cole looked straight at me, with tears streaming down his face and his face showed horror.
"He's not breathing."
