Kai's POV
I was eating cereal when I thought of my dream.
"You will have no where to run, no where to hide..."
'I wonder what it means...' I thought as I put my bowl up in the sink. 'Oi, we really need to do the dishes.'
I remember how I felt doing the dream, cold and scared. No, not scared...I was downright terrified. I still had the blanket around me, and probably about four sweaters and sweatpants. This must be how Zane must feel all the time, but then again he is a robot. Maybe Master Wu will know what to do...
I didn't care that I was sick, I wanted answers! I quickly headed outside, not caring that I was in a billion layers of clothes and headed to the monastery.
Echo's POV
Quietly, I walked down the long hall way that led to the living room, kitchen, and den. Ever since my brother and the rest of the ninja went to that cave, they'd been acting very strange. Kai and Cole have moved into a new place together, and Jay along with Nya and their baby have moved also. It seems that the ninja had a peaceful life, living freely. Except for my brother, Zane.
Oh, even his name sends chills down my spine. When I confessed to him that I was Mr. E, or so they had seemed to call me he hated my metal guts. Zane had hurt me, and I didn't blame him for it. I hurt so many people, destroyed so many lives, just to try and find them. I haven't told the others, but they sure have noticed Zane's behavior towards me.
"Something on your mind, metal one?"
A voice snapped me out of my thoughts, and I turned to see Sensei Wu, or Master Wu as the others would call him. I sighed, and nodded.
"You know what I did, right?" I asked, my voice wavering. "Who I was?"
"I know very well who you are," Master Wu said making a cup of tea. "You are Echo Zane, brother of Zane the ice ninja. Are you not whom I speak of?"
I was about to answer, but shut my mouth. He was right, I am Echo Zane. But that doesn't make an excuse for what I did.
"The past doesn't define who you are but who you were. It's your actions today that matter."
With that, the spinjitsu master walked off, leaving me alone to dwell on what he meant. The past doesn't define me? I was going to walk back to my room, when I heard a door slam open and a loud cough echo through the monastery.
Sorry this is so short, I'm currently kinda suffering from writer's block and it's getting in my nerves. It's like I can't find any good ideas for this story and every time I try to come up with one my mind thinks it's not good enough. Any advice?
