His Misunderstood Mute

Ok so im just gonna clear this up....
Cassidy is 16 about to turn 17 and is a junior.

Xander is also a junior he just turned 17. Danny is 18 but failed a grade.

J, Dante, Aaron, and Andrew are seniors. Their all turning 18 or already 18. Sorry if that confused you.

*Cassidys Pov*

"Miss Carter. Why don't you answer that for us since you so clearly are paying attention. "  Mr. H says.

Cue the eyeroll.

Sighing heavily, I stalk up to the board scribbling down the answer. I mean why can't this asshole understand that some people don't get enough sleep. I mean i slept through every class up until now-9th period.

"Gosh Cass sleeping in class im disappointed." I hear Xander say. Ok yeah did i mention he's in every class except for 2nd.

And Danny's in my second, fourth and 8th.

I don't have any classes with the other boys though except for gym.

I roll my eyes and head back to my seat. The bell rings signalling the end of the day. I stalk off to detention with Xander trailing behind me.

He got detention until Christmas break, which is in like two weeks, because he sticky noted the principals car.

Not only that he carved the words paybacks a bitch into it. Just because he came in late yesterday- not my fault wink wink- and principal Collins gave him a detention slip.

Anyways now me, j, and Xander all have detention.

Once were in the detention room, really just Mrs. D's classroom, i put my headphones on jamming out to P!atd.

After a while Mrs D lesves to get a drink so i head to the window, tossing my bag on the ground.

" Hey Cass will you stop by Walmart and get me some oreos?" J ask me.

I nod my head and grab my keys from J. I give him a questioning look hoping he catches on.

"Oh yah i want umm... lava cakes and...HOT DOGS!!" He basically screams. I cant help but let out a low chuckle.

"Oh my.." Xander trails off. I snap my head up to look at him. Uh oh he heard me.

"That was-" he atarts but i cut him by climbing out of the window.

I jog off and jump into my car before Mrs. D comes back. Heading off towards Walmart my thoughts drift off. I can not believe i fucking laughed. Like no harm right? Wrong.

"Hey Cass come help me would ya?" My mother asked. She had a bright smile on her face. I run to her as fast as my little legs could take me. She picked me up and sat me on the counter so i could mix the cookie dough. She started dancing around the kitchen, singing the song Stand By Me, by Prince Royce. I start wiggling around trying to cooy her moves. By accident i bump the bowl, sending it crashing to the ground. By now I was laughing incontrollably, my mother giggling as well.

"What was that noise?!" My father comes in screaming.  He takes a step towards me but Mom steps in the way.
"John listen shes four she didnt know better its ok." She places a hand on his cheek calming him down. Later that night after Mom tucked me in and kissed me goodnight my father had come into my room. With his hand open, he brought it down on my back as hard as i could, covering my mouth to muffle my screams. He then pukked down my-

I snap out of my memory when a loud car horn blares. I swerve back to my side, using the palm of my hand to wipe the tears.

Pulling ito Walmart, I grab my wallet, phone, and keys heading inside. I take a buggy and head towards the junk food. I throw a pacn if mint oreos and double stuffed.

I grab the stuff i need for the hotdogs and cakes and head to the check out.

I feel my phone vibrate so i pull it out ti see the name Sexy Beast pop up. Yah i should change that.

Sexy beast- hey can me and the biys come over? J said to ask you.

Do i want all these idiots at my house?

Cassidy- i mean i guess. Do yall like hot dogs and choclate cakes?

Sexy beast- who doesn't

I roll my eyes and put my stuff on the thing so the lady can scan it.

"Hey doll do you need help carrying these?" She says in a sweet southern voice. I shake my head no and give her a genuine smile.

"Alrighty then. Bye bye doll." She says giving a smile of her own.

I head outside and put everything in the back seat. Im about to get in the car when a cloth is brought over my mouth. I instantly hold my breath and wait a second before falling limp.

He moves his hand and tosses me over his shoulder. "Ay boss. I got her. Were heading to the van." He hangs up throwing the phone to the ground.

He walks towards the van and as hes about to set me down i elbow him in the face and kick his stomach before taking off running to my car, grabbing the phone he dropped hoping its nit broken.

I jump in the car and speed off.

What the fuck just happened?
