Their show was magnificent, perfect, entertaining, and just the best thing that ever played on television! The three main characters, LadyBug, Cricket, and best of all, Fly (my favorite character), were the ones who made my world, and gave me something to love. They all were just amazing at acting, but mostly Fly and LadyBug. I was most certainly their biggest fan; I've met the whole cast and everything, wrote to them, and they even wrote back, so you could even say I'm part of the gang!
My enthusiasm for the show, The Buggies, has affected me though. I'm an adult now and anytime I rave about how amazing it was, I always get these mean looks, but episode 18 says not to worry about what negative things people say or think about you, so I don't care. I need to find someone or some people just like me: Super Duper Buggie fans (in episode 66, it is revealed that is what fans like me are called). I've met nearly every person in my town, the town where the original show was even recorded, yet nobody seems to have as much passion as I for the masterpiece.
There were a few people who talk to me about how they loved the show as a kid and were super duper Buggie fans like me, but I know they're just lying to keep me engaged in a conversation. Everyone says I'm crazy for wearing their show's merchandise, but people own shirts and all sorts of trinkets about things they like; why's my show any different from theirs? I've lost touch with the cast ever since the show was shut down; they stopped replying to my letters. This made me sad because I always enjoyed the ones LadyBug mailed me. I memorized her handwriting so if I ever see a beautiful young lady with long, silky, black hair writing, I'll know it's her.
Fly was always so cool, he'd go around helping LadyBug and Cricket with their problems; LadyBug seemed to have the most problems which is why Fly and LadyBug are perfect for each other, especially with all they have been through. Cricket seemed nice on stage, but in person he was quite rude; episode 6 says to kill mean people with kindness, so I didn't ever tell him to shut up like me did to me. Fly was so especially awesome because he was the only one out of the three Buggies that could fly; the others were still trying to learn but he was already an expert, I mean, it's even in his name! All of the other kids would always say he was just attached to a rope, but I believed in him, he was REALLY flying. My mom told me the show was cancelled because during a live episode, he couldn't stop flying; there were pictures and videos if it and everything. People said it was Fly's fault the show ended, but sometimes his wings just wouldn't stop when he wanted them to; it happens in episode 76.
Yesterday, I was feeling extra lonely, so I searched on the internet where the main cast was now, and found where everyone lived! I was so thrilled because I had letters prewritten for them ever since I promised to send them some once they got a new mailbox; they were just sitting in my Buggies merchandise room. My little apartment only had 1 room, so instead of sleeping in there, I sleep on the floor to make room for all of my beloved treasures. I had nearly all of the collectibles; all but 2 exclusive, one of a kind, super rare figurines of LadyBug and Cricket. I bought the Fly figurine from a really nice man I met at the Buggies memorial statue near the mini Buggies store right before it closed down; all it needed were some minor fixing ups and I assembled the figurine with the little pieces included. I had the figurine in its own case, right in the middle of two other empty cases that I made myself.
I was thinking maybe LadyBug and Cricket still had their figurines because the one I got was originally Fly's and he just buried it in the ground after he quit so nobody could look at it. Everyday I go into my Buggies room to clean everything, especially the Fly figurine; it seemed to collect dust the fastest.Back to mailing LadyBug and Cricket their letters, I found their addresses and asked if they could meet up with me, hoping maybe they'd bring their figurines with them because I felt asking for them would be rude, especially because their figurines were probably the only thing to remind them of their golden days as child actors. LadyBug responded, but not Cricket.. I'm not surprised. LadyBug was always the nicest to me whenever I met everyone at a Buggies fan club meet.

Hi, Lucas!
I'm glad to hear you're still a fan of our show! I still miss being apart of it, but unfortunately, I've grown up quite a bit and simply cannot fit into my old costume, but I can still meet you and bring it! You can also message me at my personal email (ladybuggie14235@gmail.com) so you don't have to keep hand writing letters. I'll receive what ever you send me right away, so we can communicate through there and possibly meet up one day. I'm glad to hear Cricket might show up as well, I haven't talked to him in a long while. I'm deeply saddened our show ended too, but knowing a fan like you exists just makes my day! I know Cricket's personal email as well, so if you ever need that, just message me and I'll add him into a group email where it notificates us both if you respond. Thank you for being a Super Duper Buggie through thick and thin!
Sincerely, Scarlet
Ah, her handwriting has changed, and it's even more beautiful and neat than when she was a kid! Glad I got a hand written letter back so I can know this new information. I guess the cast has changed quite a bit, well, besides Fly; he's still out flying somewhere. I framed her letter just like the others she's sent and got on my computer to email her right away. I spent hours typing and editing my email to her, wanting to sound professional and funny at the same time, even sneaking in some Buggies references only she and I could spot and laugh about.
I was already daydreaming about what we'd do together, maybe get strawberry icecream (in episode 12, it's revealed that that's her favorite flavor), watch a movie, or even better, watch all 166 episodes together! Holding her hand would be a blessing; I wonder if she'll let me touch her long hair.. I bet it feels like silk. I got carried away in my letter and wrote probably a short story for her instead of the simple short paragraph I was aiming for. Even though it wasn't what I was originally going for, I was proud and very eager to hit send.. I took a deep breath and clicked on the button, a hundred possible replies from her filling my mind as I hit the refresh every few seconds, eager to hear what she says.
About 40 minutes later, I received a reply! I instinctively opened it faster than lightning and read what it said. She told me about how she was laughing at the jokes I snuck into my message and that she'd be happy to meet me the next day at the memorial statue; she even gave me Cricket's (or Kaleb's) email! The smile on my face was bigger than Fly's painted smile on all of my action figures of him. LadyBug forwarded my email to Cricket so he knew to meet up with us too; if he didn't reply, LadyBug said she'd drag him over if she had to because they live close by, she's too kind!
