|| chapter 4 ||

First week ended pretty fast. I found out that Jonathan and I have practically the same schedule. Jonathan and I became the best of friends, it's like we just clicked. I also met Steve, Nancy and Billy. Steve was once an asshole but he completely changed, Nancy is still the same and as for Billy, I did mention that he's nothing but trouble and he basically is the new 'King of Hawkins.' What can I say, it's darn stupid.

While I was waiting for Dustin, I grabbed my camera from the backseat and started walking around the campus; trying to find a subject for my photo. Seeing as Jonathan was there with his camera, taking picture as well. I decided to take his photo. He looks so serious yet relax at the same time.

"I hope you don't mind but I just took some photos of you." Jonathan got startled as he turned to look at me. Shaking his head, smiling.

"No, not at all. I uh-I just wasn't ready." chuckling.

"You don't have to be ready, it's a candid photo."

"Yeah, right. How come you're not going home yet?" shrugging.

"I'm waiting for my little brother." Jonathan slightly titlt his head to the side.

"Little brother?" nodding as I smiled.

"Yeah."

"Who's your little brother?" I was about to tell him when Dustin appeared and yelled out my name.

"Well there he is." Jonathan's mouth fell open as he blinked several times.

"Dustin's your brother?!?" laughing seeing how shocked Jonathan is.

"Yeah, it's a long story. I'll tell you some other time alright? Or how about, later? I'll be dropping Dustin off at the arcade to meet up with his friends."

"Yeah, I'll be dropping Will off there too. We can meet there and talk or take pictures or something, if you want?" smiling as I kissed him on the cheek.

"That's amazing, well I'll see you later Jonathan."

"Do you like Jonathan?" Dustin asked for like the 10th time. sighing, running a hand through my hair.

"No Dustin. I don't like him like that. He's just my best friend." shrugging. Dustin stared at me for 5 minutes before nodding his head.

"Well, okay then. He likes Nancy."

"I know, kid. I know."

"How the hell did you know? You just came here like a week ago and you barely know anything?" chuckling; ruffling his hair.

"Kid, I'm a photographer. and being a photographer means having to know and see right through a person or a situation. You get me?" Dustin nodded. "Yeah. You really are cool. I just wished I knew that I had a sister." Dustin frowned.

"Hey, I'm here now and I'm not leaving you anymore. I promise."

"Okay. I love you sis."

"Love you too, bud."

"Dusty. Lana. Please be back before midnight." Mom said as she patted Mews' head.

"Sure thing mom." Dustin nodded along.

"Yeah mom, don't worry. I have Lana here with me, besides nothing bad will happen to the both of us." Mom smiled lightly as she nodded her head, pulling us both in a hug.

"Yeah. okay. Mom we gotta go." Dustin wiggled out from her grasps. Chuckling while mom shook her head.

"Alright, have fun you guys!"
