-Third Person-

It been one week and five days since Marinette hasn't been attending to school lately. Of course, only Adrien knew what the midnight haired girl has been doing lately after constantly visiting the girl. Spending six days at the hospital and taking another four days to recover from everything. Marinette asked forgiveness to Tikki whom was the main person who take care of her. They sorted out everything and put it to rest.

Marinette's thought of going to New York and take a scholarship on any school that she would hopefully pass on any exams still lingered in her mind. Luckily, most schools that she picked have dorms that she could stay in. It'll make it less problem to her for looking for a place to stay. She's been anxious about it and a bit excited and nervous. She would be living alone in a place she know nothing of. Of course, she'd have to bring Tikki with her and she also has to say goodbye to both Adrien and Chat Noir which will be easier said than done.

On the third day of Marinette's recovery, she called Adrien and told him to stop visiting her in a most nicest way possible. Though confuse and concern at the same time, Adrien commanded her request and told her to see her back at school. Little did he and everyone know, that that will be the last they'll ever see her again.

Marinette transformed into her alter-ego and made a call to Chat Noir who unfortunately was off and left his caller in a voicemail. With a sigh, Marinette left him a goodbye message before detransforming and drop to her knees in a fit of whimpers. It broke her heart to leave two boys that she loved dearly but some things are to be that way and Marinette wanted a change for once, without any distractions.

Tikki hovered in front of her charger and patted the raven-haired girl's forehead in attempt to comfort. Marinette continued to cry, and Tikki let her. Her quite sobs are the only noise you can hear in her room that happens to be empty and a luggage or two were placed just near the trap door. Tomorrow will be her flight.

"It's okay, Marinette." Tikki soothed. "For once, you did something for yourself. And there's nothing wrong doing that."

"But Chat will be fighting off akumas alone." Marinette argued, wiping her tears before looking up at Tikki. "And I feel like I broke his heart even more. My rejection towards him was already painful, I don't want to be a bad guy and break his heart even more by leaving."

"I'm sure the great guardian will do something about it." Tikki reassured the girl who still look uncertain.

        Marinette sigh. "Tikki?"

        "Yes, Marinette?"

        "Can I call him tonight?"

Tikki's gaze lingered to Marinette's blue bell eyes. "That is up to you, Marinette."

The girl only nodded her head in response.

Making her final decision, Marinette made contact with Chat Noir in every communication she have without using Ladybug's. After successfully asking him to visit her one last time, on which the cat hero immediately agreed, Marinette sigh in content and waited patiently for the stray cat to arrive.

Night had reach Paris making the sky look so dark like it always do every night, making the stars' lights pop out like glitters. It look so beautiful and the air felt so cold, Marinette already feel free from everything. It was 10:17 pm when Marinette went up into her small balcony and hang out a bit while waiting for Chat Noir to come. Tikki was left sleeping inside the room just the the kwami like it.
