Chapter 10 | Ambush

-Third Person-

        "Concentrate." Tikki said as Marinette slowly close her eyes. "With the power of the Reality stone, you can have the potential to transform the universe. Something that every enemy wants to have."

        Inhale. Exhale.

        "Others often says that reality can often be disappointing to others. Because it can not only do things beyond existence, it can also alter the reality. But you need to learn that not all reality can be true-- or even exist." Tikki added, and Marinette can feel her frowning at her words. "Marinette, use your powers and create your own reality inside your mind. I can feel that soon we will finally retrieve the Tesseract. You are the one that should keep it somewhere safe where no one, not even the powerful creature on the universe to find it."

        Following Tikki's instructions, Marinette took a deep breath and dig deeper through her new discovered powers. Tikki did once remind her that creating your own reality inside your mind can be dangerous. She also did say that there are possibilities that one might succeed to do it with the use of the mind stone but unfortunately, neither don't know where the mind stone is or who is now currently possessing the Miraculous of Bee kwami.

        Now Marinette can only hope this works.

Marinette have been sitting here, on the cold floor of SHIELD's training room while the others were doing their own business. Tikki and Thor did have a small chat earlier before Tikki called her for another training that includes reality and the mind. Meanwhile, Tony and Dr. Banner-- who insist to call him Bruce, works on the Tesseract together. Tikki still didn't trust them but she didn't have to worry, because no one but Tikki knows how to open the Tesseract.

        It took Marinette a minute to finally open her eyes when she felt the wind in her face. Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion when she knew that she's inside the training room and no air could enter. Excluding the air-conditioner. Her eyes flutter opened before blinking them twice. Marinette's eyes widened and her jaw dropped a bit at the view before her.

        Meanwhile, Tikki stared intently at Marinette face. Her holder's eyes remained close while her eyebrows furrowed together before relaxing. Tikki can feel Marinette using the power of Reality, but faintly.

        "She better not be sleeping." Tikki grumbled but her expression betrayed her. She began to giggle lightly.

        Marinette rubbed her eyes before looking up again. She couldn't believe it. At first, all she could see was the dark and grey walls of SHIELD's training room and now, all she see is a wide field full of blooming fresh flowers that sprouts from the green grass ground. Trees were everywhere, reaching for what Marinette thought could be the heavens above. Fresh wind hits Marinette face which made her stand up.

        "Tikki?" She called. No answer. She pondered on whether to look for Tikki or continue her path.

        She looked up and saw blue skies with white clouds everywhere. This could be the paradise everyone always dreamed they could see. Just then, Marinette heard a river flow just in front of her. And in that river stood a metal bridge that have the same structure as Marinette's mom's fashion school bridge back at New York.

        Marinette made her way through the bridge and from there she saw a house. Her hand immediately went to her mouth in shock and surprise. Her eyes displayed disbelief because right in front of her stood a house, and not just any house. It was her dream house. Or more like her dream mansion.
