After cleaning everything up, Marinette de-transformed and made her way towards the briefing room after Fury called them in-- except for Natasha who put Barton in a room to rest. Though, Tony, Steve, and Marinette herself were the only one to attend the meeting as Fury called it. Marinette sat in between Tony and Steve while Fury stood in front. Everyone there has a look as if in a daze. A look of numb shock is shown on their devastated faces.

It was all messed up. Marinette was just informed earlier that Loki escaped with the Tesseract, Agent Coulson was killed by Loki, and Thor and Banner are nowhere to be found. And now, Marinette just lost two most important stones in the universe. Though, for now, Marinette let Tikki rest from exhaustion and later on, they'll think of something to retrieve both the Tesseract and the staff.

"These were in Phil Coulson's jacket." Marinette looked up after hearing Fury's deep voice. "Guess he never did get you to sign them."

Fury throws Coulson's Captain America trading cards on the table towards Steve. Steve picks them up, stained with blood. Marinette pick up one card on the side that has a picture of Steve with a soldier beside him. She didn't mind the blood that's staining her hands.

"Although, thanks for Marinette, our engines and a few damages are fixed but we're still dead in the air up here. Our location of the cube, gone-- erased just like that along with Banner and Thor. I got nothing for you. Lost my one good eye. Maybe I had that coming." Fury explained to which made Marinette feel glum.

She knew he didn't blame her, but her Lucky Charm couldn't fix the program of their computers which was a slight problem. It was too late for the Lucky Charm to fix back the erased files of the Tesseract.

"Yes, we were going to build an arsenal with the Tesseract." Fury added without a beat, before sighing. "I never put all my chips on that number though, because I was playing something even riskier. There was an idea, Stark knows this, called The Avengers Initiative. The idea was to bring together a group of remarkable people, see if they could become something more. See if they could work together when we needed them to, to fight the battles that we never could. Phil Coulson died still believing in that idea, in heroes."

Suddenly, Tony stood up from his sit causing Marinette to look up as he walks off, not wanting to hear it anymore-- leaving Marinette and Steve with Fury who didn't react on Tony's exit. Marinette could feel the air in tense, she almost couldn't handle it. Well, almost.

"Well, it's an old fashioned notion." Fury stated to himself but Marinette still heard him. And that's where Marinette walked out, slowly making her way towards Barton's room where she hopes Natasha is still there.

"Why am I back? How did you get him out?" Clint asked, grunting for a moment before looking back at Natasha.

"Cognitive recalibration. Marinette hit you really hard in the head." Natasha explained, standing up before grabbing a cup of water for Clint.

"Marinette?" Natasha nodded her head at him who look at her in confusion.

"Newest member." Natasha explained briefly before releasing Clint from his restraint who slowly sat up on his bed.

"Tell her thanks." Barton mumbled, rubbing his head before shaking it.

"Your welcome." A feminine voice said softly. Both Clint and Natasha looked up to see Marinette herself in a casual attire-- leaning on the doorframe with a smile on her face while her arms are cross.
