NM000: Unknown Deviant (Connor x Copycat)

Nina's POV

I was walking along the sidewalk, when I passed a supermarket called '24'.
It wouldn't make a difference if like $50 were missing, right?

I took a few steps back and walked into the shop, only to see 1 cashier, 1 android and 1 little girl.
I overheard their conversation when I walked past them.

"I'm gonna take the gun and threaten the cashier." She explained. The little girl didn't seem that satisfied with the idea.
I couldn't just do nothing. If something happens to the android, something will happen to the kid as well. So I decided to jump in.

"I don't think that's a good idea." I whispered, catching both of their attention, as they looked at me wide eyed.
I gave them a soft smile. They seemed speechless tho.

"You should have a better plan. I'd suggest that this little girl distracts the cashier by knocking over those bins."
I explained, slighty pointing at the bins, as I continued
"And you can use the chance to reach the cash register. I need some money too." I winked, as the Android I scanned as 'Kara' nodded at me.
"But Kara.." the girl whispered, but Kara just shushed her.

"We have to get some money and steal a wire cutter, we have no other choice."
She explained, as the girl I scanned as 'Alice' nodded.

Alice walked over to the cans, getting the cashier's attention fast.

The cashier walks over to Alice,
"You alright?" He says, trying to comfort her.
"Are you hurt?"
Me and Kara went to the cash register and grabbed some money. We both took $50, and Kara. I noticed a wire cutter in her pockets, she must've stole it a little earlier here.
"Well don't worry, it's just a few cans.."

As we were done, I innocently left, but I still saw Kara taking Alice's hand, saying "Come on, let's go.."

(Fact you might need: You can't really see Nina's LED because her thick hair covers most of it. Only in a specific angle, you can slighty see it.)

I walked to my Eastern Motel, distancing myself from Kara more and more, as I crossed the street to the sidewalk. I waved nicely, but Kara just smiling at me in response, holding the wire cutter in her hand. I sighed as I entered the Motel.
I knew they'd ask me for my ID, so I crafted myself a fake ID in my spare time.
"Hi..." he said. "Hello!" I replied happily.
"That'd be $40. Upfront." he told.
I scanned him quickly, as I then gently placed the money on the table.
He took it.
"Just need your Name and adress" he sighed.
I signed the thing on his tablet and returned it.
"Can I see your driver's license?" He requested.
"W-we were in a rush! I think I forgot it at home!" I stuttered.
"No worries. We can deal with it tomorrow." He reassured as I sighed in relief, smiling.
He placed the card for the hotel room on the table, as I took it.
"Have a good Night." He said.
"Good Night." I returned.

I gave him one last smile, which he barely returned, as I finally left, going to my room.

I opened the door. I looked around, it was a casual comfy Motel room. It wasn't perfect, but good enough for hiding.
I looked around a little more, seeing that someone has forgotten their bag next to the bed. I took it, glancing to my left side, and then to my right, as I finally searched through the bag.

To my bad luck, there was no wallet, but some other stuff. A pocket knife and a notebook with some pencils.

Could be useful sometime, I'll keep it.

As I was about to lay down to make myself comfortable, someone gently knocked on the door.
"Come in!" I yelled as a young female came in, as I scanned her.

"Someone reported that they left their bag in this room." She said nicely, as I shrug, secretly kicking the bag under the bed.
"I looked around already, and I sadly have seen no bag in here anywhere. I'm sorry!" I lied, as she gave me a disappointed smile.
She then excused herself as she left the room.

I grinned evilly as I laid down, bending over a little to pull the bag next to my bed again.

What an idiot.

I closed my eyes as I drifted off to stand-by modus.

~T H E N E X T D A Y~

I opened my eyes, when i looked out the window, I saw cops surrounding the store I robbed yesterday.

I knew that they'd look for me, Kara and Alice, so I had to warn them as fast as possible.
I grabbed my bag and stood up. They were gonna search for me as well, and a Motel is the first thing that'll get into mind when you wonder where someone could be hiding.

I swung my bag on my back as i grabbed my room keys, making my way (downtown) through the halls. I threw them on the table, making them land perfectly in front of the cashier, who just gave me wide eyes.
I giggled as I left the Motel, running to the fence, crawling under it, and then entering the house.

They were apparently having breakfast with some guy who looked pretty beaten up. It hurt me seeing that someone must've done that to him.

"W-who goes there?" He asked, seeming afraid as he stood up, grabbing a knife and pointing it in my direction.
"I'm a friend! Of Kara and Alice.. I think.." I mumbled as I suddenly gave him a serious look, furrowing my eyebrows which seemed to scare him.

"They're gonna be here soon. They're searching for me, Kara and Alice." I explained as Ralph looked at Alice and Kara in shock, then at me again.
"W-who?" He stuttered.
I tilted my head in response.

"The police." I answered.

"Is anybody home?" We heard someone yell outside, already knowing it was one of the cops.

"You need to hide! Ralph will find you a spot to hide!" He said, as he looked around, his eyes landing under the stairs.
He then pushed us there quickly, and then moved to the table again, standing nervously. I scanned him, his stress levels are high. If the cop was an android, they would definitely get suspicious.

Then we suddenly heard the door open, as we completely hid in the darkness under the stairs. All we could do was listen.

We heard footsteps.
"I'm looking for an AX400 and a NM000." He told.
"Have you seen it?" He continued.

"Ralph's seen nobody.." he answered, and if he could sweat, he would.
"Are there any other androids here?" Connor questioned.
"Other androids?..
No..
Ralph is alone." Ralph replied nervously.

"There's blue blood on the fence." Connor started.
"I know another Android was here." He finished.

Ralph thought for a while, thinking of a lie as quick as possible.
"Ralph scratched himself coming through..
That's Ralph's blood."

Connor moved around, making Ralph even more nervous. He went upstairs.
"Is there anybody upstairs?" He questioned suspiciously.
But Ralph replied "No. Nobody's upstairs.." calmly, which proved that nobody was upstairs.

He looked around a little more.
He then noticed a movement under this stairs, making Ralph and the rest silently gasp.

"RUN! QUICK! KARA!" Ralph yelled when Connor got too close, grabbing him under the armpits.
Kara, Alice and Nina ran out quickly, trying to escape.
Ralph pushed Connor against some box, making Connor groan at the impact.

Now, Kara, Alice and Nina have escaped through the door.

Hank came in, and said "Connor! What's going on?"
Connor quickly and harshly stood up
"It's here! Call it in!" he yelled.

That's all we heard until we left the house.
When I went to escape to some direction, Kara and Alice went the other.
"Where are you going?" I asked.
"To the train station!" Kara whisper-shouted, as I nodded. Then we finally completely separated, going our own way.
