yerim scowls at his message, as she threw her phone aside, the pink iphone softly collides with her fluffy comforter. she sighs before sinking her body deeper into the mattress.

that contact name though, why haven't she changed it yet? yerim made a mental note to change it, perhaps even deleting it permanently. right, why didn't she delete his number yet?

she grabbed her phone before clicking his contact number, love. ugh. her fingers are so close on hitting that red, delete button but she don't have even the slightest courage to do so. her heart feels really heavy, that it could explode anytime.

jungkook lightly smiles as he received her reply. oh dear, he can't help but to feel proud when she said that. yerim, too, still occupies a huge space in jungkook's heart, and he can't seem to let her go.

she was definitely the right one for him. she filled in all the doubts and fears in his heart with endless love.

how did they ended up like this?

"jungkook, dinner is ready!" jungkook groaned out loud at the notice. he threw his phone aside before getting on his two feet and dragged them towards the dining hall.

"wow, instant noodles with boiled eggs, typical kim taehyung." he said with a hint of sarcasm beneath his voice, and the mentioned name smiled cheekily at his statement.

"at least i didn't burn the house. be grateful, kook." taehyung said before joining him at the table. "joohyun noona is on a field trip with her students, she will be back by tomorrow." he explained, making jungkook to nod his head understandingly.

taehyung is jungkook's best friend since diapers, and he is now, at the age of 29, working as a photographer for a quite well-known magazine in south korea. he shares a sweet marriage life, and they're already at their nine months together, with bae joohyun, a 33 years old woman who works as a middle school teacher.

while on the other hand, jungkook, now at the age of 27, is a dance coach at a famous dance studio located in seoul. he also works part time as a convenient store worker during the weekends. he have been staying with taehyung ever since he graduated, and promised to move out after taehyung gets married. however, even after nine months since taehyung got married, he still fails on finding a place for him to stay. taehyung, being the most awesome best friend he is, lets jungkook stay with him until he found another place. although deep inside, he is a little annoyed since he and joohyun needs to keep their steamy activities without much noise, probably one of the reason why they are still not granted with kids yet.
