"jimin? seulgi?" huh? she have never seen the both of them in the company's building? when did they become a trainee? where did they train?
"kim yerim, do you know them?" the president's voice snapped her out of her thoughts. "yes, i do know them, president," she answers honestly. "they are my friends."
"cool," the president responds shortly. "anyways, exactly one month after luvies' comeback, i plan to debut them as a co-ed duo," yerim would totally love to see jimin and seulgi slaying the stage together, but somehow, her heart is against this decision.
she could only stare at jimin and seulgi with a frown. how could they not talk about this with her? they are even in the same entertainment company!
sigh, they really need to talk.

"look, yerim. we didn't mean to-"
"-you both are aware with the fact that this company bans dating among labelmates, right?"
jimin and seulgi unconciously shrinks at yerim's words. oh no, they didn't know about that. "see? you didn't even read the contract properly!" yerim sighs in frustration.
"it's okay, we-" seulgi glances at jimin, who seems really troubled. it's not like they could simply terminate the contract. the contract termination fee is very huge, and they do not have enough money to pay for it. "-we will throw that feelings away."
seulgi notices how jimin turns stiff at her words. she regretted saying those words, but she doesn't have any choice.
"what? no!" yerim screeches. "i will not let that happen. this is bullshit, you both clearly love each other!"
"is.. is it that obvious? that we love each other?" it is jimin's turn to speak up.
"what kind of question is that? you guys literally look at each other as if everyone else didn't exist!" yerim is practically yelling on top of her lungs. jimin and seulgi have been on a relationship for so long, even before she knows jungkook. and no, she did not want their relationship to wither away just like that.
"it's fine, yerim. we will figure this out," jimin says calmly this time, as he reaches for seulgi's hand and squeezed it tight. "i won't give up on seul."
yerim softens at such lovely sight. she feels bad for them, as she clearly knows how the entertainment industry works. she remembers how there was once when a top female soloist, park chaeyeon, had her career destroyed in a blink of an eye when she was caught dating her own labelmate, whom was still a rookie at that time. she was kicked out from the company, pretty much kicked out from the whole industry, as netizens are accusing her of ruining her boyfriend's group and whatsoever. it was ridiculous, she knows. but sadly, it really did happen.
she didn't want jimin and seulgi to go through those unnecessary hardships. the both of them means a lot to her.
"okay, we will figure this out together. i will do everything that i can to help you."
