no, this is not happening.yerim chants in her head as her grip on the steering wheel tighten, making her knuckles turn white. "eonnie, are you okay?" minju questions as she is confused with yerim's weird behavior. yerim have been acting weird ever since minju asked her help to drive her to the dance studio for her first session.
"i'm, i'm okay," yerim breathes out. "yes, i'm okay. there's no need to worry about me," she then parks the car at the side of the road. "you can go alone from here, right?"
"actually, eonnie, i kinda want you to accompany me to register, can you? you know i don't really remember all my personal informations, right?"
yerim is screaming in her heart. if she steps into that goddamn dance studio, he is definitely going to be there and she is not ready to meet him, at all. "okay, minju. let's go."
her hands turn cold and her heartbeat fastens as she steps into the dance studio. it has been months long since she last stepped into it. this is where she broke it off with him, erasing him from her life (although she didn't really erase him in the end). her breathing becomes shallow and she finds the studio really suffocating.
"welcome to hope's dance studio! is there anything that we could help- oh? yerim?!" the guy who is at the registration counter looks at yerim with wide eyes.
"oh? hoseok?" yerim's eyes turns bright at the man's presence. "hey! it has been a while," she offers him a fist bump, and he gladly complies. "what brings you here, squirtle?"
"hoseok, not that nickname," her eyes turns murderous, and hoseok recognizes it as a signal for him to stop. "okay, rim. i won't," he then turn towards minju. "aren't you minju? luvies?"
"ah, yes. i am minju, nice to meet you," minju tucks the strands of her hair behind her ear before smiling. "i want to register as a member of this dance studio."
"oh? a celebrity being part of our crew? i am very honored," his smile turns wider. "i am jung hoseok, the owner of this dance studio," his hand then reaches out for a blank form before handing it towards minju. "this is the form that you need to fill in. and then you can straight away go inside and practice with our coaches."
"eonnie," minju turns towards yerim before smiling shyly, and yerim makes a face. "aish, aren't you 23 already? why can't you still remember your own identification number?" yerim nags and protests, yet her hands moves as she grabbed the pen before filling in the blank form with minju's informations.
"eonnie, have you been here before? you seem very familiar with this place. you even know the owner of this place. are you a member here?"
oh minju, i am very, very familiar with this place.
yerim smiles bitterly. "i am not a member, but i am always welcomed here."

"jeon jungkook, wake up! you have a dance session today, you lazy freak!" joohyun's yell was heard all over the house, even startling taehyung who is busy boiling eggs in the kitchen.
"five minutes, noona," jungkook slurs in his sleep before bringing the comforter over his head, completely covering himself, and joohyun's blood boils at the sight of it. "before i pour a bucket of water on you, you better wake up now."
"ugh, okay, okay," he throws away the comforter, sits up straight, and frowns when the ray of sunlight hits him. "what time is it, anyway?"
"8.30 in the morning, and your session is starting in 15 minutes," joohyun says nonchalantly, and jungkook's eyes widen at the mention of the current time. "WHAT?!" he scrambles out of his bed before rushing into the bathroom, as he slams the door out loud. joohyun could only shake her head at the kid's behavior.
after roughly showering and slipping into a white tshirt with black sweatpants, he then rushed towards the dining hall. "kook, sit down and have some breakfast-"
he cuts taehyung's words as he grabbed a whole boiled egg before stuffing it into his mouth, startling both taehyung and joohyun. "hey!" joohyun hit his back, making him to flinch. "sit down, at least. geez, you're disgusting," jungkook shrinks under joohyun's death glare, before eventually taking a seat beside her and chew the egg slowly.
"here," taehyung hands over a glass of chocolate milk, and jungkook drinks it in one shot. "you are going to get yourself killed someday if you eat like that." joohyun says with concern, and jungkook only grins in return. "i will go first, thank you for the breakfast!" he then disappears behind the door.

"yerim baby!" yerim is welcomed with a bear hug from jimin, and seulgi joins in. "it has been so long since i've last saw you!" jimin whines before hugging her tighter, and yerim could only laugh at the elder guy's behavior.
"yes, baby, i miss you too!" it's seulgi's turn to whine, and yerim laughs harder. "hey, guys, you're squeezing me!" yerim says in between her laughs. jimin and seulgi pulls away, as they stare at the younger girl. "you got prettier," jimin comments, and seulgi nods at the statement.
"thank you," yerim shyly says. she then turns around to see minju standing behind her with amusement flickering on her face, as she watches the situation unfolds in front of her. "right!" yerim pulls minju over to stand beside her. "this is kim minju, member of luvies, and she is here to improve her dance skills!"
"hey, minju!" seulgi smiles brightly, and minju swears she have just saw a whole beauty. "i am kang seulgi and this guy right here is park jimin, and we are very glad to help you!"
"thank you, please take care of me well," minju bows as a sign of formality, but jimin quickly shrugs it off. "it's okay, there is no need to be formal with us."
as they were talking, yerim couldn't help but to search for certain someone's tall figure. she have been looking around, but it seems like he is nowhere to be found. have he quit this place? there is no way he would do so. yerim knows how his passion for dancing exceeds anything else. a part of her is glad that he isn't here, but a part of her longs for him.
it have been too long since she last saw him, after all.
"he is a little late today, yerim," she snaps out of her thoughts when seulgi's voice rings beside her. "huh? i wasn't looking for him," yerim frowns. "stop being in denial. i can see it from here, you are practically yearning for his presence.
"i am not!" yerim raises her voice, as she gets a little offensive. noticing how seulgi flinched, she quickly softens up before hugging seulgi by the side. "sorry, eonnie," she mumbles. "it still hurts."
seulgi sighs before patting the younger's head. "it's alright, sweetheart," seulgi then kisses her hair before beaming. "now, let's go and join our session!"
"huh? no, it have been a while since i last danced-"
"-and now is the time for you to revive your dancing skills! come on, yerim!" yerim is still scared. but as she sees seulgi reaching a hand out as an invitation, somehow, she doesn't hesitate before receiving her hand.
yerim realizes how she should start fighting against her fears.
"don't tense your shoulders. relax, and move along the music," yerim follows the step easily. even minju who is beside her, is truly amazed with her dancing skills. "eonnie, you should join luvies! you definitely have the looks and skills."
"huh? me?" yerim laughs it off. "you're talking nonsense," she then continues to follow the dance steps with ease, as she howls her steps with full of confidence.
"sorry guys, i'm late!"
yerim freezes in her spot, unable to move as she heard a very, very familiar voice. a voice that once became her sweetest memory and worst nightmare. the voice that once sings her lullabies before going to sleep, the voice that once made her cry.
that voice.
