Your POV

After gulping down a light breakfast, my feet carried me into the busy street.
Even though the throngs of people, they still somehow managed to avoid me as a group, parting slightly as if to give me space- or to distance themselves from something different, an abomination.

Automatically ignoring them, my thoughts stray to a boy that became Hokage, despite the fact that he was different too. If people accepted him despite his flaws, what's stopping them from treating me as a human being?

I don't even want to be Hokage.
All I want is some respect.

I look up as the familiar building casts it's shadow on my (size) body. Another agony inducing day of work to pay up my overwhelming bills.

I take a deep breath of fresh air and step into the hospital, my nostrils instantly assaulted by the sting of antiseptic laced in with the hospital air.
Konoha Hospital might be a great hospital, but in the end they're all the same.

All of them are too clean, too good to be true, too inviting when the only thing there is to come to is a few pieces of cold machinery and a smell that'll give you a headache no matter how sweet a scent you thought it was.

Hospitals love to deceive you, don't they?

I chuckle darkly at the implication.

"(Name)! Is that you standing there?" A plump woman in her late thirties approaches me, her thick glasses sliding up her nose as she adjusts them with her fingers.

"Oh, Anko sensei. Yeah, I'm right here!"

"Hmph. My vision is getting worse and worse these days. I wonder when I'll have to do another transplant."
She turns her head and squints at the snake curling around her arm.

"It's quite a hassle, you know. Especially since I want to eat about halfway through the process, blind as a bat, lying on the bed."

She frowns, and runs her hand through her graying navy hair.

My answer flies automatically out of my mouth. I don't even have to think about it. Anko is such a sweet lady, being the only nurse who would take me as her apprentice.

"I could help you again if you'd like." Anko's eyes grew wide with worry.

"Oh honey no, it's a long process and you'll have to keep getting me things, and- "

I cut her off.
"Please, I insist. Its really the only way that I can pay you back." I gave her the most genuine smile I could muster. After all, its not her fault that my curse doesn't let me feel any positivity. She deserves all that and more.

Anko's murky green snake eyes gleam with gratitude.
"Thank you, (name). Now, let's get to work."

Anko pulls me along, deeper and deeper into the sterile hell.

Hours later,

Kakashi's POV

Pound, pound, pound.

The rhythm of the blasting club music revebrates through the floor into the soles of my feet, shaking my entire body.

I look around the room, and see nothing but outlines of different beds in the dimmed lighting.

What did you expect? (Name) to randomly pop out in the form of an angel to help you get over yourself?
I did this to myself. I payed for this myself.

A little moan escapes my masked lips as she hits a particularly sensitive spot.

Instead of the much longed after pleasure I expect to feel, all I feel is guilt.

And shame.

And...longing.
