The Serpent Queen || Bughead

It had 2 weeks since I found out I was pregnant and Jug didn't know, I didn't wanna tell him, I didn't wanna lose him, we were a strong couple.

"Betty, you should go to the hospital, get checked up," Veronica said as we were on her couch
"I guess, I've been really stressed out recently,"
"Yea I will call them now,"
"Thanks V,"
I turned towards the Tv, what was I gonna do, I can't have a baby and lead the serpents can I? I mean people do it but,
My thoughts were interrupted by Veronica
"You have an appointment in 20 minutes," she said I jumped off the couch in my sweats and jugs 's' shirt, the past few days I have been moping around

I was In the waiting room, when the doctor called my name I jumped up grabbing Veronica and Cheryl, who decided to tag along, hand. We walked into a white room with a bleach smell.
The woman laid me down "this may be cold," she said as she put the gel on my stomach,

She kept mumbling things like 'this is interesting' and 'ok' "miss we need to take your blood,"
"Why is everything ok?"
"I can't say," she said I started panicking as she took the needle, and took my blood.

"What if something wrong?" I say feeling tears well up
"It will be ok B," Cheryl replied
The door opened and the doctor came in,

"So we have your results and apparently you were pregnant with a healthy baby,"
She said a sad look in her eyes
"Were, what do you mean by WERE," I say, my voice cracking as tears fell down my cheeks
"You have had a miscarriage, most likely because of stress, I'm so sorry miss," My heart stopped, as I burst into tears, Cheryl and Veronica pulled me into their arms "I will leave you," the nurse said

"You were wrong Cheryl," I whispered "Its gone, my baby is gone," I sobbed.

After 20 minutes I finally sorted myself out, walking into the bar I felt all eyes on me, I hadn't spoken to any of these people in days,  I saw Fangs surrounded by a large group including Jug, we walked over

"Betty," He said excitedly "Do I have news for you,"
"Hit me," i say with a smile
"My sister is pregnant, I'm gonna be an uncle," my smile drops I feel tears stinging my eyes as Veronica and Cheryl pull me away, they sit me in a booth and pull me into a hug, I let my tears fall and my loud sobs fill the now quiet room
"I can't do this anymore," I say in my sobs, Jughead immediately comes over
"Baby what's wrong?"
"Jug, I think it's better if you stay out of this one," Cheryl says sincerely

I ignore there conversation
"Its gone," I cry "i killed it,"
"No," Veronica said sternly "this is not your fault Betty," she said
"Yes it is Veronica, I should have been calm but I was so FUCKING stressed,"
"Veronica is right Betty it happens," Cheryl said.
Everyone of the serpents was around us trying to see what was happening Toni sat down "Did she have a-" Toni asked but before she can say Cheryl nodded her head, I looked over at Toni who's cheeks had tears

"I'm a bad person," I mumbled, tears still falling
"Baby I don't have a fucking clue what has happened but you are anything but." Jug said
"Just leave me alone Jug, you're the reason I'm in this mess," I shouted, his face dropped
"Jug, don't worry, it's not what you think ok?" Cheryl said to him
"I'm clearly making this worse," He said getting up and joining the rest

"Betts, do you wanna tell them why your crying or should I?" Toni asked
"V, please, she knows more," I say In a muffled tone
"Betty, was pregnant,"
"Pregnant?" Jug asked with tears in his eyes and a smile on his face
"Yea, I had a.....i lost it," I say before bursting into tears I leaned into Cheryl chest sobbing harder,
"Oh God baby," Jug says getting into the seat next to me which Veronica had moved away from "is that what you meant when you," I just nodded

"Lets get you home B," Cheryl said
"Ok," I replied

When I got home me and Jug talked about it,
"I will never leave you," He said, and it kept playing in my head as I fell to sleep I started thinking
