I put on a red bodysuit and ripped jeans shorts, I do a red lip and a lot of foundation, contour and highlight and space buns in my hair leaving half of it down I slip on my thigh high boots with embroidered flowers and head out the door, slipping on my jacket.
I walk into the bar and hear slight chatter, I see Jughead and Jellybean talking to an older woman, I walk over "Hey Juggie, JB" The older woman looks me up and down, "You must be one of the sluts that work here, can I have a-" "Excuse me?" Lilie squeals as Jugheads mom sits where she was "Lilie," I whine laughing. She sits down with Cher and Toni who introduce her to Sweetpea, apparently they haven't formally met,
"Betty! You're here," FP says, as i sit on Jugheads lap, he engulfs me in a hug "Forsythe how could you let our son end up with suc-" "Don't you dare say it!" Cheryl threatens "Cheryl calm down!" I order "Carry on, please," "With such a slut," she says with a scowl "There it is," I say before leaning onto Jugheads shoulder "Mom, please stop, you're judging her off of stereotypes, why don't you get to know her cause she is a lot of things but she isn't a slut," Jughead says calmly, still in shock of his mom's Audacity.
She groans before FP takes the seat next to her "I love you," Jughead says which makes me smile "I love you more," I whisper pecking his lips "IS THAT BUGHEAD I SEE?" "And Kevin has arrived, I'm gonna go see if he needs anything, love You," I say to Jughead before strutting off towards Kevin and leading him towards the girls, Sweetpea and now Neo, "She hates me," I say sitting down "I swear I will pummel her!" Sweetpea says, He is like my big brother at times, "No need Sweetpea, anyway please take care of Kevin and Lilie, please?" They nod as I walk away taking my seat on Jugheads lap,
"Do any of you guys want anything?" Toni asks coming over to us "Another One," "Gladys-" FP started "Its another slut!" "What did you just call my girlfriend?" A very angry Cheryl stomped over, I jumped off my seat "Cheryl stand down," I said in an ordering tone "Its fine babe," Toni said, Cheryl nodded glaring at Gladys.
"Gladys, you're making a lot of enemies right now, that's not a wise idea," I say warningly "Toni can I have a coffee?" Toni nods and Jughead gets a water, Jellybean a coke and FP and Gladys order ice teas. When our drinks arrived I thanked Toni and apologised quietly,
Me and Jellybean started having our own conversation when Gladys spoke to me "Are you pregnant? You look it," she said "Mom," Jughead warned "What? I'm just saying, I mean it looks like she has been pregnant multiple times," I felt tears sting my eyes "I-Im not, I'm not pregnant," I say gathering myself "A bit of stutter there," "Mom sto-" "Its fine Juggie, I'm gonna go see Toni," I got up walking off,
I sat down feeling tears fall down my cheeks "B?" Cheryl asked embracing me in a hug, I quietly sobbed into her arms "I fuck everything up Cher," I said in between growing sobs "Maybe I should just let Jughead go, maybe I should just end it," i said "No, Betty," Lilie shouted drawing attention to us "Don't go back there," Neo said sternly, "You would be better off," I shouted back aware that all eyes were on us, I pushed myself up going to leave when a hand grabbed my wrist and pulled me back,
Cheryl sat there holding me down, "Just let me go," I shouted to her, when Jughead came rushing over, she released me allowing me to get up, He pulled me into his embrace "What's going on love?" He whispered "I can't keep doing this Juggie, I can't keep pretending everything is ok, all I have done since we got together is hurt you," "That's not true baby," He whispered leading me to FP, Gladys and Jellybean and sitting me down in his seat, He knelt in front of me "You are the best thing in my life right now baby," He said pulling me into a hug,
"I love you," He whispered "I love your too," I replied before moving and sitting back on his lap I heard a scoff and I see Gladys trying not to laugh "Serpents have gotten dumber, I saw through that, so how many times have you been pregnant, 10, 100? Have you gotten rid of them All," "Mom, stop!' Jughead said sternly, I straightened my posture "2, I have been pregnant twice, the first time, i was raped and had an abortion cause I was to young to carry the child and survive, the second time it was Jugheads, and I lost it, I had a miscarriage before he even knew," I said tears flowing down my cheeks
She looked at me shocked "Toni can I have a vodka?" I asked as she rushed to the bar handing me a glass, I chugged it. "Thanks," I leaned back into Jugheads embrace, suddenly the lights flickered off, when they came back on I saw someone I hoped i wouldn't see again.
