Part 2, again forgive me if I suck at making a good storyline, its all new to me 😜. I have no idea where im gonna take this story and how im gonna tell it, but I guess it makes it better since writing as I go. I dont have any specific uploading schedules, im very busy with Aviation mechanic school, high school, league racing, etc; idk when I'd get to write/post so bear with me bc itll be worth it! Enough rambling, ENJOY!

The next few days we're going as best as he tried to do as they actually happened, and he felt that he was doing a half decent job, or at least, better than he expected to be doing anyway. He rode to work one day and remembered that this was the day Hannah threw the party at her house for Kat's departure. He finished pedaling as he reached the Crestmont and started to unbuckle his helmet while parking his bike by a pole, he looks up when he hears Hannah say those iconic words, "Love the Helmet. Its adorable." Clay stands there as he smiles at the sound of those words. "You mean adorable in a helpless baby animal sort of way im guessing." She starts looking at Clay's hair, "Aren't you afraid of helmet hair?" Clay smiles a little trying to recall, "My hair does the same thing no matter what, it just sits there." Hannah then starts to fidget with it trying to see how could it look better, "You just need some product, a little effort to style it, blow dry in the morning." Clay was just basically staring at the point, he couldn't help but look into Hannah's deep ocean blue eyes. "And sacrifice my masculinity?" Clay asked jokingly, to which Hannah told him, "That ship has sailed dont you think?" As she eyed him from up to down. Clay then started following her as they went towards the theater to begin their shifts. "Forgive me for wanting to keep my brains inside my head." Hannah followed is up, "Instead of say some other regions like most boys?" Clay chuckled a bit. "Come on Helmet, you got bathrooms to clean." Clay scoffed, "You mean we've got." Hannah turns around as they reach the door, "Hmm, I don't actually. Oh, party at my house tomorrow night, you're invited it's mandatory. Dont bring the helmet." She said looking down at it, and back up at Clay. Clay then tried to look into his reflection at the door and adjust what he could before following Hannah inside, "Uh cool, where do you live?" She look back at him as he caught up to her, "I'll text you the address later, for now, you're going to be bathroom cleaning." Clay then, with experience of the job, went into the bathroom to do his job. Hannah walked back out to the main counter to do their shift. They did their shift and said their good byes as they left the Crestmont. Clay was wondering what should he change differently and when exactly should it. Early enough to where Hannah doesnt suffer? But he knew from the few sci-fi time travel movies that changing the past can have major consequences, especially if its drastic and way too early. Clay decides its best to just go with it and wait until the time is right, after all, he knows what happens and when.

The next day came and it was a quick morning and afternoon, nightfall came and Clay was getting ready to go to the party when his mom saw him dressed so nicely. "Clay, where you going looking all nicely dressed?" Lainie asked. "A friend's house, they're throwing Kat a going away party." His mom smiled and said, "Well have fun and be home by midnight!" Clay rolled his eyes a bit as he turned around and starting walking out the door, "sure thing mom!" Lainie stood there and wondered to herself, "we're sure gonna miss Kat."

Clay arrived to the Baker's address that Hannah had sent him, even though he remembered from visiting while listening to Justin's tape what felt like about 2 weeks ago. He parked his bike against the fence and walked towards the front door, just as he walked in he told himself to be aware of the surroundings if he wants to make sure Hannah's first impression of certain people change and maybe some stuff are avoidable. Just as he's going through his thoughts he hears Kat scream, "He's here! Clay came!" as music was bursting through the house, he wasnt quite sure what song but it sounded like some R&B, wasn't really his cup of tea. "You owe me 5 dollars!" he hears Hannah say and he chuckled, "you bet against me or something?" Hannah laughed a little, "yea." She then looked at Kat who said, "Last party I saw Clay at: my birthday, 4th grade!" Clay shook his head remembering that time, and the clown. "Refills, lets go, Clay what is your drink?" Kat asks as they walked from the front of the house to the kitchen, "I'll have a beer." Clay says, "I am a gem after all aren't I?" Kat laughed in denial but knows it was true, she went to go retrieve the beer before Tyler called her for a picture of her with Clay and Hannah. Hannah looked over at a smiling Clay and says sarcastically, "Stop having so much fun Clay!" Clay laughs and says sarcastically back, "Im totally having fun, woot!" As he unbuttoned the top button of his shirt which caused Hannah to say, "How did you know I was gonna do that for you?" Clay laughed a little as he caught Bryce walking in, and tried to not pay attention while also acknowledging his appearance in the party, "I dont really know, I guess my shirt was too buttoned up, maybe I should just put it back." As he acts like hes about to re button the top button as she laughs, he noticed Bryce heard and was starting to approach them and he didnt know what to do and tried thinking of things to say. "Hey" said Bryce flatly, "Hey" Hannah said in return now facing Bryce, "So you're the new girl?" Hannah smiled a bit and was about to say something when Clay said, "She is Bryce." Bryce then actually fully noticed Clay was there. "Woah, holy shit, Jensen actually came to a party, now that's a real shocker right here, been a while dude!" Just as he says that, Kat comes back and tells him "Bryce, hit the Keg you're an hour late!" Bryce rolled his eyes and walked away. Clay was surprised that he feels he just made a major change in what happened, Hannah's first impression of Bryce, not that its better but he never got to say "I like your laugh" like if he was eavesdropping. So then Kat and Hannah begin to talk and think about going outside and I remembered that's where Hannah met Justin and wondered if this is something I should try to change, I let it go and go along, not everything was changeable and avoidable.

They were all standing outside on the porch talking and Clay decided he would go to the bathroom but really wasnt going there. He couldnt help but wonder what if meeting Justin went different because he remembered how jealous of Justin when Hannah met him, he never felt that way before with anyone. So instead, he left out the back door and found the master sprinkler system switch and saw it set to automatic, so he turned the on/off switch to off and the master switch to manual. The sprinklers would not be turning on anytime soon, so he walked back inside and back to the porch where he saw Zach and Justin walking towards the house. Kat saw them and told them to come on in, they said hi to Hannah and acknowledged Clay's presence similar to Bryce. The good thing about this, is by the look of it Hannah doesn't appear to be interested in either one of them since they didn't wrestle on the grass while wet. Some time passed and the party was ending and Clay saw it was 11:50, "Shit, I gotta get home soon or my mom will kill me!" Kat and Hannah were too busy in their own conversation to hear what Clay said, "I gotta go!" Kat heard him and said, "really?" Clay then paused, "Yea, midnight cerfew. Im gonna miss you Kat, take care on the east coast alrighty?" "No problem sweets," she the came up to Clay's ear and whispered, "dont think I didn't notice you like her, good luck." Clay laughed and said bye to Hannah and left home for the night.

What did you think? Was it good? I still dont have a clue on where to go, but if theres anything I personally dislike about a fanfic, just my opinion, is when the shipped characters get in a relationship basically instantly, I like a good buildup and drama, makes it better for when the time comes 😉. Chapter 3 is in the process and will be uploaded when I can
