i looked over at him, peacefully sleeping.

i honestly felt like a creep right now, staring at him. but he was just so pretty. i looked how his tattoos perfectly covered his beautiful skin and at how he glowed.

suddenly, he opened his eyes and started laughing
"damn bruh you a weirdo, i rest my eyes for 5 seconds and and you on you're stalker shit"

i blushed feeling embarrassed. he noticed how i was feeling, so he decided to comfort me.

"you know i'm just kidding k" he said. he put his lips on mine and kissed me. it was all good and all but, shit i had to go!

"i have to gooo" i said, pulling away
"kiarriiii" he exclaimed "pleaseeee"
"jacobbb" i said "noooo"

he didn't need much convincing to let me go, so i grabbed my bag and he walked me downstairs.

"ok, bye sexy" he said then kissed me,smacked my ass, then closed the door.

it made me upset how he didn't wait for me to walk to the bus stop or even say 'call me when you get home'. but it's all cool.

ever since nick and jay's goodbye party, me and jacob have been kicking it.

i'm going to admit though, we lack emotional connection. our physical connection is the only reason why i'm still "with him", or "talking to him", but that's it.

being with nick raised my standards to the motherfucking roof, and that's why i feel so uncomfortable with jacob. maybe he's just a way to kill time.

i decided to stop stressing myself out with boys and emotions and just let everything go with the flow.

i was sitting on my bed watching "Martin" and finishing up some notes. my phone buzzed and when i checked, it was a message from jacob.

jacob💘: hey baby
kiari: hey pa
jacob💘: wyd
kiari: catching up on hw wbu
jacob💘: my smart babyyy 😍
jacob💘: i'm jus feeling a lil lonely thas all
kiari: it's saturday, you jus at home?
jacob💘: got a couple invites, might go out later
jacob💘: maybe you could come over?
kiari: why don't u come over heaaa
jacob💘: that's too much workkkk i was there yesterday

this made me upset. if we were to hang out, it would be me coming to him always. every time this happened, i remembered how nick would be in front of my house at midnight, or how he would wait for me two hours to finish studying, just to hang out.

i brushed the thought out of my head and forced myself to be happy with what i had.

i texted back.
kiari: i'll see what i can do
jacob 💘: thanks bae😋

i put my phone down and picked up back where i left off.

suddenly, my phone started buzzing, a lot. i thought it was jacob being annoying and sending emojis, but once i turned the phone around, i saw it was a facetime call from malani.

i got mad excited cause the only time all of us would be together was in school and even there we were still missing glizzy and jay and aaliyah. although aaliyah was in school, she was never at lunch.

i picked up and was shocked to see she was in a bed, with a bunch of wires and shit behind her.
"malani? WHAT HAPPENED?" i exclaimed, getting up from bed
"i gave birth kiari, come meet your niece!" she said, smiling.
"what-when - where?" i asked
"a couple hours ago, me and glizzy didn't want to tell anyone until the baby had came out, just so y'all wouldn't be waiting for a long time"
"oh my god i'm on my way i cant believe this oh my-" i started saying, but she cut me off.
"just get here kiki"

i looked in the mirror to make sure i was looking presentable, and i caught a quick glimpse of my piercing. every time i see it, i feel like someone stabbed my chest. i decided to take it out because the memories was toxic.

i went to put it on my jewelry stand when i noticed that my diamond studs were missing, at the moment i shrugged it off and excitedly ran downstairs.

i grabbed some of malani's favorite snacks from the kitchen and headed to the bus stop.

as i waited for the bus, my phone started ringing. it was tay
"ayoooo kiari, you going to the hospital?"
"yesss" i said
"aight imma come scoop you"
"thank you tay boo"
"no problem kiki boo"

as i waited for tay, i texted jacob.

kiari: sorry i cant make it, malani gave birth
jacob💘: i wanna go witchu
kiari: i'm going with tay so meet me there
jacob💘: k
jacob💘: st. john's?
kiari: yes

she was so pretty. her small little hand wrapped around my index finger. right in that moment, i would do anything for that little baby.

we were all crowded in the hospital room, despite hospital regulations.

"have y'all realized" said anthony "this the first time we've all been together out of school in a grip"
"you're right" i said "i miss you ant."
"i missed you too kiki" he said and engulfed me in a big ass hug.

"i want one" said kayla, pouting at the baby
"i'm so obsessed with her" said malani
"can i see her?" said a distant female voice. i identified it as aaliyah. when i turned around it was her, her without levy. i ran to her and hugged her. everyone cheered.

"aaliyah, we miss you so much" said zaniyah
"ever since levy you've ghosted us, i miss you" said kayla

"guys. i know i haven't been myself these last couple of months, but it's just that i'm in love. levy has changed me for the better and i want to spend every minute of the day with her. and that made me distance myself from y'all, i'm sorry" she said as she cried
"why are you crying, we forgive you" i said and i pulled her in for a hug.
"i've just been emotional, that's all" she said

"well wipe your tears away and look at this cute ass baby!" said malani
"she's so pretty, she looks just like you!" said aaliyah.
"she looks like me" said glizzy
"shut the fuck up. she don't look like none of y'all goofy ass niggas" said tay.

"what's her name?" asked zaniyah

i forgot that i was the only person who knew. malani looked at me and smiled before she said "ayahmarie".

"that's sooo pretty awww" said kayla, staring at the baby.
"i still think y'all should've named her taymora" said tay
"that's ugly ass hell" said aaliyah.

zaniyah reaches into her bag and pulled out three onesies.

"this is from me and auntie zaniyah" said tay, as he handed the onesies to malani.

malani held them up and they said
"my uncle will turn you into dust"

we all laughed at tay'a stupid ass.

"why are there three?" asked glizzy
"because she obviously gonna grow up nigga, and when they don't fit her no mo, i'll get her more. she gon have a lifetime supply"

suddenly, somebody's phone started ringing. it was glizzy's.
"it's jay!" he said and picked up. he put the phone mad high so that jay could see everything.
"yooooo" said jay
"HI BABY" said flacka, she blew a kiss and the screen. i felt so bad for her, but she convinced me that her and jay were making it work
"hey baby" said jay "where's the other baby?"
"WHERE MY NIECE AT" said nick.... nICK?

glizzy put ayahmarie on the camera.
"awwwww" said jay
"she's so beautiful" said nick "what's her name?"
"ayahmarie" said glizzy
"that's beautiful" sniffled jay
"just like-never mind" said nick. i pretended i didn't hear that.

glizzy put the camera back on the everyone in the room, and i felt someone grab my waist. holdup, if nick was in the camera, then who... jacob.

right now, the camera was on me and me and nick were staring at each other. i didn't know what to do, ignore jacob, or kiss jacob in front of nick.

i turned around and kissed jacob. i turned back around and nick had gotten out of the camera.  me and jay were making eye contact now.
