Beam POV

Baramee Vongviphan, that's my name but why did everyone call me Beam not because of my name but different story and will be a long story, so I skip from now. I come from a rich family even though my father, not an alpha. My father is beta while my mom is human, normal human.

Just like my father, I also soon-to-beta to my friend, Phana and I also hope to find a nice girl to be my partner like my mom. Yes, partner not mate cus I going to reject my mate if she or worse he far from my taste.

To accomplish that, I being eyed many girls on my campus but no one close enough to be my perfect partner so I change a place like at the mall, the park and mostly at the club. Been dating a lot of girls make me earn a nickname, playboy.

"Beam, why are you alone?" A girl's voice brakes my lost though.

I give her a smile before push her hand from my shoulder.

"If Pha was the one you looking for, it's better if you move your ass far from me."

"Beam...don't be like that...I just want to invite you to join me to dance."

I stand and take my glass with me, ignore her and walk to Kit who busy with his phone while Pha comeback from the toilet.

"Give me that." He takes my glass and drink in one gulp.

"What's wrong with him?" Kit ask.

"How should I know?"

"Baramee Vongviphan, I forbid you from dating any girl anymore." He points at me before sigh and weakly seats beside Kit. 

"What's wrong with you?"

"Most of the girl dating you will end up come at me and force me to listen to them as your replacement. Argh..."

"They just used that as an excuse to know you."

"I know but...Argh..." This time he drinks from Kit glass before order more drinks. A drink can make us, wolf, drunk.

"You suppose to drive us back tonight." Kit try to take the glass from Pha but who we are trying to stop the stubborn Pha.

"Can you stop your plan and just wait for your mate? Who knows she might change you shit mind."

Kit nodded, agreed with Pha.

"What if my mate is a man?"

"What's wrong with being a man? You are, we are. Besides men mating with men was common in our community."

"What's wrong being alpha then?"

"We talking about you." Kit snap.

"Beam..."

I turned my head to the entrance and see a friend.

"What's a specific character you want in your 'partner'?"

Pha and Kit look at the entrance

"Forth..."
