^Aria's POV^
"Their's nothing i hate more then the ninjas" I ranted while taking one of Jay's frys "They act like they're the only ones that do anything good around this city. We're the ninjas we've saved the countless of times. Well you know their's more to this city then that, I'm doing a lot of things and i can't even use my powers!"
"Calm down Aria" my cousin Cole said also taking one of Jay's frys
Jay looked at me "Yeah Aria it's fine- wait why do you two keep taking my food!"
"Look I'm just saying, it wouldn't hurt for me to use my powers every once in a while" i said
"No" Cole and Jay said at the same time
"Oh come on, the ninjas use their powers all the time, why can't I" i whined
"Because your... different" Jay said
"Aria if people saw your powers they'd freak out, we've kept this a secret to protect you" Cole said
"It's so unfair!" I shouted
"The ninjas protect the city, and you'd just destroy it" Cole shrugged
"But not on purpose" Jay said quickly "you just wouldn't be able to control your powers"
"I can train" i tried to reason
"The answer is still no Aria" Cole said
"You two wouldn't understand, if you had powers you would understand. You'd want to use it, not using it feels like a part of you is missing, like your not complete" Aria said sadly
A couple hours later Jay and Cole said bye to me and left my house. I layed on the couch and turned on my tv. I watched cartoons until i got bored and fell asleep.
^no one's POV^
As Cole and Jay walked back to the bounty they thought about what Aria said and talked about it.
"Remember how we felt when we lost our powers" Cole asked
"Yeah it was terrible, we felt useless... and empty inside, like a part of us was miss...ing" Jay answered thinking about it, Aria had said the same thing
"Aria wants to be free to use her powers like us, but it's too dangerous for her" Cole said sadly
"Maybe their is a way we can train her, come on follow me" Jay said running off and Cole following him.
