"You were adorable, Pais! Oh my god, look at this one! You're naked!" Harry exclaims, roaring in laughter. I bury my face into Alyssa's shoulder, hiding my crimson face.

Why does my family hate me? My grandmother grins at me and I shake my head. I reach across Harry's lap and snatch the book from his hands holding it behind my back. "I think that's enough." I sigh, closing it and putting it where my grandmother took it from.

Harry pokes his lip out in a pout. I bite my lip to keep myself from smiling. I poke his cheeks, where his dimples indent when he smiles. He smirks, gripping both my wrist with one of his hands. He begins to lean down to kiss me, momentarily forgetting where we are.

He pulls back quickly to find the room full of my family staring at the both of us. Most everyone is smiling, admiring. Aside from my father and step-father. They both stand looking fairly similar.

Their faces are set in deep scowls. They both have their arms crossed over their chest and breathing heavy. Dramatic.

"Well, aren't you two just the cutest?" My mother smiles.

---

Thursday night, and we're finally home. I was so relieved to finally come back. I'll miss my mom, and my brother and sister, but that's about it. I barely said a goodbye to my father.

Right now, Harry is in the apartment I share with Alyssa. Alyssa decided she'd stay with Niall for a while, since she didn't see him for three days. Harry said he'd stay with me so I wasn't 'lonely'.

I sit with my arm looped with his as we watch E! News. Harry and I flash on the television. Alyssa is staggering behind us, all of us carrying luggage. It was us arriving at the airport last night.

"Harry Styles and his new girlfriend coming home with Niall Horan's girlfriend after spending time with Paisley Brown's family. What's to come for these two love birds? Stay tuned and we'll have inside story from Brown's father." Harry and I both pale. My jaw hangs open and I stand quickly, my hand finding my hair.

"I'm going to kill him. He's going to die. I'm going to murder him." I pace back and forth, not being able to form coherent sentences after that. Harry only watches me panic, before standing and wrapping his arms around my shoulders.

"Hey, hey. It's going to be okay. I don't care what anyone believes. We know the truth. We know we aren't really together, yet. And no matter what your father says, we'll get through it." He says soothingly.

Aren't together yet. Ouch. I already knew that, so I don't know why it offended me. I only nod and sit back down on the couch.

Minutes later my father appears on the television. He's walking down the sidewalk, glaring at the camera. "So, how do you feel about your daughter being shoved into the spotlight by her new, womanizer boyfriend?" The man interrogating my father asks.

He rolls his eyes before he licks his lips to speak. "I've met him, actually. He's very respectful, and is not the least but a womanizer. He only had eyes for Pais. I don't appreciate you speaking poorly of my daughter's friend."

Harry and I looked at each other wide eyes, mouths wide open. That was the last thing I expected him to say. He didn't even say a single back thing about Harry. I quickly pick up my phone and dial my father's number.

"Hello?" His deep voice speaks through the phone. Harry motions for me to put him on speaker and I oblige.

"Um, hi dad. You know you're on E! News don't you?" I decide not to beat around the bush.

He sighs deeply, "I know. I shouldn't have even talked to them, but they followed me for over an hour when I was looking for your birthday present. I'm not sure how they even knew who I was." He explains. I feel a pang of guilt. He was being followed because of my friends, while looking for my birthday gift, thanks to me posting a picture of all of us on Thanksgiving.

"No, um, it's fine. I actually wanted to call and thank you. You know, for what you said. It uh, meant a lot to the both of us." I can't fight the smile that plasters itself onto my face.

"Oh, uh.. no problem. I was a little hard on Harry when he was here, I actually quite like him." He confesses.

"Good, because so do I."

---

Alyssa came home around eleven, so only about ten minutes ago. And now I have to unwillingly say goodbye to Harry. I walk him to the door of our apartment. "Well, I'll see you soon." I smile, wrapping my arms around his neck.

He snakes his arms around my waist, pulling me closer. "Saturday, okay?" He says, but presses his lips to mine before I can answer him.

Hip lips capture my bottom one, sucking it lightly. He guides his tongue into my mouth, where it tangles with my own. My fingers wrap themselves in his hair, tugging at the ends. I love how long his hair had gotten.

"Okay, Friday."

I grin and kiss his lips again lightly. "I'll see you tomorrow."

He nods as I open the door for him, him following out. I smile and lean against the doorframe. When he gets on the elevator is when I realize I'm still staring. My eyes widen and I quickly shut the door behind me.

"Did you see Chad on E! News?" Alyssa questions, reminding me of my father's appearance.

I plop down beside her and sigh. I lay my head on her shoulder and chuckle to myself. She grins and looks down to me. "What?" She giggles.

"He told me he liked Harry." I say, laughing a bit harder. She opens her mouth and jumps away from me suddenly, causing me to fall over.

"No way!" She gapes. I control my laughter from my position on the couch, nodding.

"He's such a little faker! He liked him the whole time!" Alyssa smirks, crossing her arms over chest. "I knew it."

I shrug, "Of course he likes him. He's Harry, how do you not?" She smiles wider and shakes her head.

I've never had good experiences with guys. Either they're assholes, or they're liars. But, in most cases, it's both. Every boyfriend I've ever had has wanted one thing, sex. But, once I denied them, they left. So yes, I'm still a virgin.

Harry has never pressured me for anything, although he isn't my boyfriend anyways. But, I know he wouldn't even if we were a thing.

"Paisley!" Alyssa pounds my arm with her fist causing me to jump and rub my arm.

"Ouch!" I shout, glaring at her. "What do you want?"

She rolls her eyes and point to my phone. "Harry's calling you. Aren't you going to answer him?"

I look down at the vibrating device and grab it quickly before Harry's name disappears.

"Miss me already?" I try to contain my smile until I remember he can't see me. I decide to let it break through. I look over to my best friend who's telling me to put my phone on speaker.

"You wish. I actually have a flat tire. Care to help me out?" He returns. I let out a little less than audiable sound.

"Of course. Text me where you are and I'll be there as soon as possible." I try to hide the amusment leaking from my voice.
