It was nearing the end of the day and Eddie was walking home. Halfway home, He saw Alex. She was wearing the same black cloak, so it was harder to see her, but he did. She was trying to get somewhere as fast as she could and ended up running straight into Eddie. They both fell and Alex quickly picked herself up and left in a hurry. Eddie stood up after a minute and started chasing her. He ran as fast as she could, but could not catch up with her. Finally, she Ran to the shoe store, turned the corner, and disappeared. Eddie tried to go the same way she did, unsuccessfully. He ran into an older man, around 40 years old, and fell to the ground yet again. He thought it might be Alex's dad, but wanted to make sure. Eddie asked him if he had seen a girl with short blond hair and a black cloak. The man replied with a no. Eddie had lost her.
