"Hey!" Don't look back at him.
Okay. Maybe he somehow finds Jongin comforting, but he is still annoying. Baekhyun's having a free time on his own, and the least he wants now is someone who'll destroy the peaceful silence that he's feeling.
His professor can't make it to the class due to a meeting, which means Baekhyun has two hours to waste. Being in the library would be better, but he's too lazy to walk fifteen minutes just to be in an airconditioned room, the books are teasing though.
"Baek!" He is annoying.
"Broccoli!" Seriously?"What. the. hell. Jongin?" Closing the book he's reading, Baekhyun irritatingly answered Jongin.
"We met again!" Jongin has his arms wide open, as if Baekhyun is one of his closest friends.
"And you look awful-ly good..."
"Thank you for emphasizing that out." Ever since his broke up with Chanyeol, Baekhyun stop on making himself look good. Well, he could make it look like the break up doesn't affect him by being more attractive, but honestly, it wouldn't make him feel better.
"You know you're always welcome, cucumber."
"Anyways, I've been thinking." Jongin sat on the available space beside him. Baekhyun moves a bit because Jongin was way too close to him.
"Yeah, sure you do." He's like Junmyeon, but on another level. They both don't care whether they are invading Baekhyun's privacy or not.
"I'll let that pass. I'm planning to apply for a part-time job..."
"That concerns me because?" Baekhyun is sure as hell that Jongin has friends who can he talk with about things that are not associated with him.
"... but I wouldn't be able to exert my best effort in my studies."
"I need to go now, Jongin." Baekhyun placed his book in his Bag. He doesn't know where to go, but any place without Jongin or anyone annoying is enough.
"However, there are plenty of things I want to buy."
"Bye, Jongin." Baekhyun stood up and started walking away, but Jongin did the same.
"To have a part-time job means I'll have less time to rest though."
"You are so annoying." Baekhyun stops walking. Yes, Jongin did the same.
"You had the choice to leave, yet you chose to be mad at me again." Yeah. He has a choice, but all of it includes Jongin.
"Why do you keep on making me feel like I suck at making decisions?" Frustrated and defeated, Baekhyun looks up at him. Jongin gave him a sheepish smile and played with Baekhyun's hair.
"I did not? Or maybe because you know you are, in denial buddy."
"Go to hell."
"What's with the mood? Dramas make me cringe, but I consider myself as a good companion." Baekhyun agrees with it. Jongin may be annoying, but Baekhyun would still consider him as someone who can keep up with him.
"Well, I'm just-" They went back to the bench and Baekhyun was so ready to rant about random things- starting from Kyungsoo to Junmyeon, and a bit of Park Chanyeol.
"Mad?"
"Annoyed?"
"Disappointed?"
"Sad?"
"Hungry?""A bit off." It was a mixture of everything that Jongin said.
"A bit? Yeah, sure."
"You're always 'a bit off' with me. I'm starting to think that it's your usual mood." Jongin may or may not rant about Baekhyun's attitude with him, but Baekhyun doesn't feel bad about it. It seems like Jongin doesn't mind at all, like he understand him.
