Scandalous: A Yoonmin Fic

Chapter 2

While waiting for the guest of honor, the five brothers discussed their plans for their mochi.

"So what's the plan for tonight?" J-Hope asked the leader.

"Well the thought was to surprise him here, have a couple of drinks and get some food or whatever."

"Nothing too extravagant then?" V asked.

"Geez, when you say it like that, it sounds boring." Namjoon muttered.

"Jungoo, what was that place Jimin was talking about the other day?" Jin asked.

"I know face, but I don't know name."

At everyone's blank stares Jungkook chuckled.

"I'm kidding! I joke, I kid. Wow, tough room."

"Anyway," Tae mumbled rolling his eyes.

"Chill out hyungs, I know it. He was talking about that new nightclub. Apex, I believe it's called."

J-Hope bolted upright from his relaxed position on the couch.

"Apex, you say."

"Yep, that's the one."

Hoseok looked at the group.

"Do you guys remember Lilly?"

"She's that singer you choreographed for right?" Jin asked.

"Oh yeah, I remember her! You really liked her!" Tae chimed in.

Hobi narrowed his eyes at the boy.

"What about her?" RM asked.

"Yeah, what about her?" Kookie parroted.

"Well we've kept in contact-"

"Ooohhh!" The other four chorused.

J-Hope shot them an icy glare. All he got in return was giggles. Sighing, he continued.

"As I was saying, we've kept in touch and she's owns the club with her cousin, Minseo. Maybe I could make a call and get us in."

"It's worth a shot, Jay. Give her a call and we'll get this party started." Namjoon said.

  J-Hope nodded and began calling her as he walked out onto the balcony.

"Hey, Lilly-" he said as he closed the sliding glass door.

  A moment later, he gave a thumbs up and finished his call. The boys excitedly high-fived each other. Not long after, Jimin and Yoongi returned and the small party was in full swing. Drinks flowed, music pulsed and everyone was laughing and dancing. While Jimin was distracted, Hoseok filled Yoongi in on their plans.

"Everyone, it's time for cake!" Jin yelled over the noise.

  The members gathered around the island as Jin placed a cake in the middle.

"Is that what I think it is?" Jimin asked excitedly.

"Nope. It's not your favorite, chocolate strawberry. Not at all." Jungkook teased.

  Jimin glared at the maknae then excitedly reached for the cake. Just before he could touch it Jin slapped his hands away.

"Aish, you could at least keep your grubby little hands off it until we light the candles and sing!" Jin proclaimed.

  Chagrined, Jimin mumbled out an apology. Tae laughed loudly at the pouty expression on the birthday boy's face and Kook smirked. After a raucous rendition of "Happy Birthday" and blowing out candles, the boys devoured the cake.

"Oh man, that was tasty!" J-Hope exclaimed while rubbing his stomach.

  The others nodded in agreement. The group then doled out the gifts they had gotten him. Jimin thoroughly liked what his friends gave, but a little sadness returned to his eyes. Yoongi was quick to notice the change, He hated to see the light dim in his mochi's eyes. So, before the others could notice or say anything, he spoke up.

"Jiminie, we have one more present for you."

  Jimin's eyes regained their sparkle as he looked at Yoongi, who gave a little smile.

"Oh yeah? What is it?" he asked excitedly.

  In the brief silence that ensued, Jimin scanned the members faces for a hint. Growing impatient when he found none, he began to whine.

"C'mon guys, what is it? You're killing me."

  He looked around the room a couple more times and received nothing but more blank stares in return. When his face began to redden from anger, Hobi couldn't contain his exuberance any longer.

" Chim Chim, where's the one place you've been dying to go recently?" He asked with a wide mischevious smile.

"The Wizarding World of Harry Potter!" 

  The four oldest members looked at each other in confusion, while the maknae line grinned.

"What the hell? Talk about unexpected!" Namjoon said.

  He began muttering to himself about how it was his dream to go there himself. Jin looked at the leader sympathetically then pointed out to Jimin,

"Umm, that would be impossible at this point, sooo that's a big no."

Jimin's face fell slightly, but his eyes still held mirth.

"Sorry guys, I tried," He directed to Tae and Kookie.

  All three fell out in laughter. Suga cleared his throat loudly causing them to go quiet.

"Try again, Shorty. Think of a place with in the city."

"Shorty?? Says the one ARMY nicknamed Lil Meow Meow" Jimin shot back.

"Hey! I'm the swaggiest swagger to ever swag." Yoongi drawls striking a "swag" pose.

  After a gummy smile, no one could contain their laughter and flung themselves all over the room howling with laughter. Wiping tears from his eyes the leader called for everyone's attention.

"Bangtan! Let's not get off course. Jiminie, any ideas?" 

"Nope."

"Fine then, do you give up?" Namjoon asked.

"NEVER!!" He shouts.

"Aish, why are you like this? You know what, we're not telling you now. It can stay a surprise. Everyone!" The eldest says and claps for everyone's attention.

"Let's get ready and not a WORD to Jimin!" He states sternly.

"What should I wear?" Jimin asks.

"Clothes hopefully!" Jungkook shouts out.

"Nah, I was going to go naked." Jimin says sarcastically. 

"While the ladies may love that idea, nobody else wants to see your small chili pepper." Taehyung interjects.

Jimin scoffs loudly as Jin exhales harshly, growing annoyed at the maknae antics.

"Tae! Kookie! You will assist Jimin, you know where we're going. If you tell him anything, I won't feed any of you for a week!!" He commands catching the eyes of the youngest members.

They both nod, fear of starving radiating from their eyes, as each boy grabs a hand and drags Jimin down the hall.

"Yes, hyung," The maknaes chorused.
