Thirty minutes later, the lovers boarded the train that would take them to Daegu. Easily, they found their seats and settled in for the two hour journey. Jimin snuggled against Yoongi, opening the book he brought to read. The rapper popped earbuds in and nestled down for a nap, resting his head on top of Jimin's. He turned on his piano playlist and closed his eyes as delicate notes filled his ears. He felt a tap on his arm and hummed as he pulled one bud out.
"Hyung, what are you listening to?"
"Classical piano."
He offered the earbud to Jimin who slipped it into his ear. He hummed in approval and resumed reading as Yoongi drifted off to sleep. Reading became difficult once the man beside him began the heavy, even breathing of deep sleep. The sound, so close to his ear, was enticing his body to relax and his eyes to become weighted and drift closed. Jimin tried to fight the sleepiness threatening to overtake him. But the battle was lost when Debussy's Claire de Lune began playing and his eyes finally shut.
The piercing wail of an infant roused Yoongi from his slumber. Scrunching his face in displeasure, he scrubbed the sleep out of his eyes. He glanced around the cabin before his vision settled on the seat in front of him. In it sat a girl that looked to be around ten, trying to hold on to a squirming, crying baby. Fat tears streamed down both of their reddened faces. Yoongi observed as she unsuccessfully rocked and cooed to the tiny being. Upon hearing the cruel murmurs of the other passengers, his heart went out to her.
"Hey," Her watery eyes shot up at him, "is that your baby brother?"
She nodded shyly. He smiled gently at her and introduced himself.
"My name is Yoongi. What are your names?"
"Oh! My name is Soo An and this is Jiyong."
"Nice to meet you, Soo An and Jiyong."
Soo An giggled but quickly saddened as more cries erupted from the enraged infant.
"Mommy put me in charge of him so she could go to the bathroom and now I can't get him to stop crying. I'm such a bad big sister," She cried.
"No, sweetie, you're not. You just need to learn more about being a big sister. I see he has come out of his blanket. You could try to swaddle him back up and see if that works."
"Swaddle? What's that?"
"You know, wrap him tightly in his blanket. It might help. You look like a smart girl, I'll talk you through it and we'll see, yeah?"
Gratitude was plainly written across her face as she nodded. He instructed her on the process of swaddling the baby. He then suggested that Soo An slip the little guy a pacifier. Soon enough, peace returned to the cabin. Both the idol and the little girl sighed in relief at the same time.
"Thank you, Oppa! How come you know so much about babies?" She suddenly gasps and asks, "Do you have a baby?"
He chuckled and told her that while he didn't have any kids yet, he had had baby cousins growing up and learned from them. They talked about Soo An's life and friends until the children's mother returned.
"Mommy! You're back! You were gone for sooo long and Jiyong started crying and I couldn't make him stop and everybody was getting mad at me, but Yoongi oppa helped me and he stopped crying!"
The girl said it so fast her mother smiled dazedly and asked her to repeat it. Once she understood, she thanked Yoongi for helping her daughter. He brushed it off, saying it was the least he could do after seeing Soo An so distressed. The two adults conversed a little longer until the mother received a call.
