Chapter 1: Am I Pretty?

Tsukki's POV

I woke up in the middle of a flower patch on the side of a hill. The shining bright sun glistened on the soft grass and flower petals that lay beneath me.

I look down, seeing myself in one of my black and white school uniforms with my black and white converse.

My pale white hands press against the green beneath me as I push myself up, my black eyes flicking around as I tucked a few strands of my jet black bangs behind my ear.

"Tsukki...."

I hear a voice call out from behind me. It wasn't deep or scary but, more calm and soothing.

I sit up on my knees as I turn myself around, seeing two tall, slender figures appear before me. I stare at them in shock, the woman on my right wearing a long white dress that covered her feet and a white straw hat. The man on the left wore a black suit with a red tie and black shoes.

The sun shone brightly, as I fail to be able to make out their face. I squint my eyes as I see both of their pale white hands reaching out to me.

I slowly reach my hands out as well before everything turns black.

'Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!'

I groan as my eyes slowly open to my dark room, the only light source being the sun shining through my window.

I sighed as I stretched my arms into the air, turning off my alarm clock.

I sighed as I swung my feet over the bed mattress, placing my feet onto the cold wooden floor. 'That's the 17th time I've had that dream....'

3rd person's POV

Tsukki continued to get ready for school that day. She grabbed her black bag as she stepped out of her apartment feeling the warm fresh air on her pale skin. She closed the door behind her, locking it as she began to walk down the concrete stairs.

Tsukki had walked along the sidewalk of the street headed in the direction of her school as she kept her head down.

'That dream is stuck in my head and repeats itself again and again and again. What the hell is going on?' Tsukki holds her head.

She then looks up in front of her to the empty sidewalk.

Soon the school courtyard appeared in sight with children walking into the school. Tsukki walks in through the doors heading directly for her class, trying to avoid any socializing or contact of any sort with other students of the school.

After school, Tsukki walked out the doors.

Tsukki continued to walk down the same empty sidewalk alone, no cars insight to her surprise due to the road being very busy most of the time.

She looked around before turning her head back in front of her. Tsukki raises an eyebrow as she sees a woman wearing a trench coat and a surgical mask appearing at the corner of the sidewalk with her head tilted as she stares at Tsukki.

Tsukki shrugs it off as she continues walking, inching towards the woman.

"Hello there little one.." The woman greets as she looks a little surprised on how tall the girl was in front of her.

Tsukki slowly waved, stopping in front of the woman.

"Am I... Pretty?" The woman asks.

Tsukki tilts her head before letting out a small chuckle. "Please, the real Kuchisake-Onna would at least be the slightest bit frightening."

The woman raises an eyebrow, recognizing the voice. "P-Pardon?"

Tsukki smirks and shakes her head, walking passed the woman.

"Sure."
