Chapter 2: Coming out

Lmao this chapter is kinda rushed, but it's like a filler, but also has some important info in it? You know what I mean? Well let's just say here in the next few chapters things are gonna get a bit more interesting with bakugo and Kiri over here ;) enjoy this chapter!

After I had gotten down with my little bit of a mental break done after I learned that little thing about myself, I looked up into the mirror. I sighed, my hair was already messed up from the water I had splashed on my face. I grumbled and turned the sink on, cupping my hands under the water and then dumping the water on my head, drenching my hair and I ran my fingers through it, bringing the red strands down. I grabbed a towel from under the sink and roughly dried my hair. There wasn't any school today so I was just going to leave it down, it's not like any of my classmates have seen it down before. Today was a day just to get settled back in, I was very greatly for that, it would give me the day to recover from what happened a little bit earlier.

Three soft knocks took my out of my thoughts, I glanced up at the door and started to the door. "Jeez Mina you have to be more aggressive. More like..." I jumped back as the door was blasted off, and a proud looking Denki where the door should have been. I blinked, did Denki.. really just blow off my door? I chuckled and said, "damn Denki you're already making me pay for shit you broke on the first day back," I teased.
"Well someone has too," He said as he walked in and Mina followed, siting down on the bed, her eyes darting around my room.
"Sorry about the mess..." I said as I glanced around the room myself. I hadn't left it in quite as good condition as I should have when I left, there were weights and head bands and clothes scattered about, not to mention my new clothes dumped on top of the bed.
"Oh it's fine," she said with a smile.

"What the hell happed in here shitty hair?" A familiar voice said. My head turned up quickly at the hot tempered blonde standing in the door way, looking down at the door laying in front of him and then he slid his eyes across the room. Maybe I really should have cleaned.. especially since he's here I thought to myself.
"Anyways," bakugo said putting his hands in his pockets, "Momo is hosting a welcome back party later on tonight. And since none of you will look at your god damn phones I'm here to tell you." He snorted. I quickly put my hand over my pocket where my phone sat, I pulled it out and looked. There was a message from Momo about an hour ago, and then another one about 30 minuets ago asking if we got the message. I put it down and looked back up at bakugo, "yeah I'll be there," I said and chuckled, "sorry I didn't feel my phone go off." When she had messaged me I was in the middle of having that break down, and I didn't feel it and I guess I was too caught up in the fact that Denki knocked my door down to feel the vibration of the text message. "Tch" bakugo said and turned, "I'll see you losers there then" he smirked back at us then left down the hall.

Denki was staring at me, "hey kiri are you alright..?" I blinked at him, "yeah why?"
He looked at me curiously, "your face is pretty flushed. It's been like that all day. Are you sick?" I bit my lip. Shit, I thought to myself should I tell him...? I've known him forever, I feel like I can trust him. I'm not too sure about Mina though... I'm not sure how she'd take it that her friend is.... not straight. Granted I only just recently came to terms, I felt like I needed to tell someone, and I wasn't sure if I was bi or gay. I've never really had a crush on a girl or had a desire to date one... so I'm guessing probably gay.. but it felt so weird calling myself that. I only just stopped denying it, I'm not 100% sure yet. I was jolted out of my thoughts by Denki shaking me, "Bro you're starting to become midoriya." I chuckled, "yeah sorry about that..." I paused for a second, "can I talk to you about something... just the two of us?" I glanced at Mina, "no offense..."
"No no it's fine. I was going to go back to my dorm. I've been 3rd wheeling pretty bad here" she laughed. That just made my face go even redder, "n-no we aren't d-dating so-so you're not th-third wheeling" I said frantically scrambling words. Fuck I just made it worse.. I scolded myself in my head. Mina just stared at me then just bursted out laughing, "no no that's not what I meant, besides you don't have to hide the fact that you and Denki are a thing" she winked.

My jaw just dropped. What the actual hell
"Oh no we're not," Denki chuckled, "we all know he wishes it though."
I can't believe this. My best friend had just turned on me. I just gave up and crossed my arms, looking away furious and as red as my hair. "Well I'll go now" Mina chuckled and started to walk out the doorway.

Denki turned to me and laughed a tiny bit, "Well that was fun, so what did you need to tell me?"
I looked up at him, "you have to promise not to tell anyone or look at me any differently... I'm still good old kiri, but you can't tell a single soul. Not Mina, not your mom, not.... bakugo," I started out.
"Yeah of course" he said, his face serious and peering up at me.
I took a deep breath, "Denki... I think I'm gay."
