"Life is unpredictable. Funny part is we think that we have control over our life but no, we don't. You don't believe me? Come let me prove it to you".

"That is me, actually it's my body on that bed. I am here watching the show. It's not a pretty sight. I hate blood it makes me nauseous but now I don't feel anything. I can only see. Now what's the word we call when someone floats away from their own body. Astral body right?"

"Wondering how I ended up like this. Let me tell you, I have time to spare until I go back to my body or if I'm done here I have to walk the bridge and pass on."

"I am a recent high school graduate. Only fifteen hours to be exact. Funny isn't it? Well here is what happened. I was celebrating with my friends after party of course. I got the best and the biggest gift of my life which is, sorry! Was a car. My parents gifted it to me because I worked my butt off to be the top of my class."

"Me and four of my friends Chris, Rebecca, JoAnne and Taylor the popular five BFF's group of school. We had some drinks, flirted with the guys, and had one hell of a time and it rained. Party pooper!"

"That night I made the stupidest decision of all time. I let Taylor get the wheel, she was too drunk to drive but hey we all were. Jordan was in our car with us girls. He was my all-time crush since junior year and only the girls knew. We hit the road past midnight. We played truth or dare like kids and when it was my turn to dare I was asked to kiss Jordan. Yeah you heard right!"

"So I did it, out of fun of course. I kissed him and oh boy he kissed me back and he pulled me on to his lap oh my god yes! The girls went wild and cheered to us. Unfortunately to all of us Taylor glanced at us maybe for a tiny bit of a second and it happened. I couldn't see what happened but I heard Chris screaming 'look out Taylor' and a bright light, a bang and the rolled over I guess."

"The next moment I opened my eyes, I couldn't move. I was out of the car I know but I cannot remember how I got there. I tried to move but I couldn't, my body went numb I think. I didn't feel pain none at all. I know that's weird right. I couldn't move, I couldn't blink. All I did was just lay there until I fell asleep and when I woke up alarmingly I was here. Floating, in a surgery room."

Doctors and nurses trying their best to save me, no trying to save my body so I can go inside it and live again. They were doing surgery to my chest. I can see the heart beating with a machine attached to it.

"She won't hold on much longer. Would she?" A lady in a blue coat asked. A nurse I assume as she was helping the man next to him.

"I think she is strong enough, she is with us for three hours now." He replied.

"Awww! So sweet of a doctor you are!" Let's see what is wrong with my body. I went near him and looked at the board on the table. This probably is the diagnosis card. Penetrating heart injury by fractured rib following blunt trauma. So my ribs have puncture my heart. "Wow one kiss did this to me!"

Time passed maybe an hour or so. I was getting bored hence decided to go out and explore since I can float and others cannot see me floating because they are stuck in their own bodies. "Hmm maybe I can go through the wall! What fun!" So I did it, I went right through the wall briskly like the wind. The white coloured hallway was filled with busy injured people, doctors and nurses and visitors. I went pass them swiftly but none of them notice my presence. There was so much noise in my head listening to people talking and it was irritating. Well I was like them fifteen hours ago but now I cannot stand to hear the chatter.

I went pass a door and the room was dimly lit. Many shelves with files and several computers were there. "Must be the records room". I wondered inside and found a corner spot where I could have some peace of mind.
