The Normandy was landed before a crowd of people, Camera's live streaming this over all of Palaven. The Cargo Bay's door opened, Shepard standing at the front with the crew behind him, He looked out, the words going through his head.
"Palaven..." He looked out at the Turians, Some Krogan and Salarian mixed amongst the crowd as well. "Palaven was in certain demise against a threat we couldn't beat..But we did. We did the impossible! We held the line.." The crowds looked to Shepard
Shepard once more spoke up to the crowds "With the help of..Of a galaxy united Palaven was saved and the Reapers eradicated!" Even Shepard couldn't help but smile slightly
"When I had chosen to destroy the Reapers..Their...Embodiment said that peace wouldn't last..Well I say we prove them wrong! I say we show them we can work together! We held the line.."
He made a final nod, turning back to the ship and walking in, The crowds erupting into applause behind them. As the cargo bay door's closed he turned to his crew "Was that good?" He asked them. "Well I swear I'd heard 'We held the line..' Somewhere before" Garrus chuckled out, earning a laugh from the original crew.
"Oh shut up Garrus." Shepard laughed out "To Sur'Kesh?" Shepard asked, He had been on Palaven for months, he was ready to actually..Get away.
