"Guess who has a date with Jessica?" Taylor says as he walked into the room.

"What about Caitlyn?" Dillon asked.

"Jessica is the girl I've been upset over D. And besides. Caitlyn is annoying and clingy." Taylor shrugged. "Jessica is perfect and Caitlyn is not. She isn't even my type."

"Caitlyn is one of our friends. Is she okay with this?" Dillon asked.

"Who cares? I was only going to go on one date with her anyways." He shrugged. "She is too wrapped up in her little fantasy land to pay attention to anything anyway. I don't want that." He looked down. "I'll go on the date with her. But I'm not taking it farther than first date and hand holding. If anything."

"I'm telling Caitlyn about Jessica." Dillon said as he walked out of the room.

Dillon's PoV-

"So he is going on a date with Jessica Trax instead of me?" Caitlyn said, obviously mad. "Why would he want to date that emo freak instead of me?"

"That's enough Caitlyn. There's no need to be rude about it. Jess doesn't even know about you." I defended.

"Why? She is stealing my date. I don't get why though, I mean, her hair is neon blue Dillon, neon blue. My hair is blonde. The color of a person, not a poodle. She seriously is so disgusting, why would Taylor want her?" Caitlyn said rather rudely.

"Maybe because He's in love with her and because she can handle bad news." With that, I hung up.

Damn. Tay dodged a bullet.

Jessica's PoV-

I was straightening my hair when my phone rang. I put the flat iron down and answered the phone.

"Hello?" There was know called ID so I have no idea who it is.

"Hey Jessie." I heard a familiar voice say. I think it's Caitlyn. But I can't be sure. "It's Caitlyn. I have just heard the wonderful news that Taylor Caniff is taking you on a date."

"Oh, um yeah." I said. How would she know?

"I'm just sad that Taylor had to cancel on mine and his study session for it. He really needs to pass." She said. Oh gosh I didn't know he was failing.

"But I thought Taylor was an A student." I'm really confused now.

"He's embarrassed to admit he needs help." She said.

"Oh. I'll talk. To him about it." I smiled.

"Okay. Night Jessie." She said and hung up. Weird. I quickly typed a message for Taylor and shut my phone and continued on my hair.
