Harrison Osterfield was not having a good day.
Everything that could have gone wrong did. They got his order wrong at the coffee shop. He didn't get the part he'd been coveting for months. A simple photo shoot for a magazine turned into an hours-long fiasco thanks to the other model involved; she'd thrown a diva-esque tantrum that involved her locking herself in her trailer (another travesty - he didn't get his own trailer) and refusing to come out.

So, Harrison was just looking forward to curling up next to you on the couch and zoning out in front of the television for several hours. He pulls up to your apartment and lets himself in with the key you'd given him; he's surprised to see you already standing on the other side of the door.

"Oh, hi." You're startled too, but give him a quick kiss on the cheek anyway. "Thought you might be the pizza guy, sorry. Didn't really feel like cooking tonight. Bad day?"
"How could you tell?"
"You didn't use any emojis in your I'm coming over text."
Harrison sighs as he slumps onto the couch. "It was bleedin' terrible. I don't really feel like talking about it, can I just wallow on the couch for a bit?"
"Sure." The pizza arrives; you quickly pay and take it from the delivery driver. You set the pizza on the kitchen counter and quickly prepare two plates; smiling, you bring them to the living room and hand one to Harrison.

"Thanks." The two of you eat quietly; it's a comfortable silence, though. After you're through eating Harrison sighs again and falls to one side, head landing in your lap.
You giggle as you start raking your hands through Harrison's hair.
"Hey." You lightly tap the tip of his nose with your index finger. "I love you."
Harrison sits bolt upright and looks at you, shock coloring his features. "You do?"
You nod. "Yep. I do. I know the guy usually says it first, but... but I just couldn't hold it in anymore. You're the best guy I know, Harrison, and I love you."

Harrison smiles warmly as the knot of stress in his chest that had formed from his terrible day starts to slowly unravel. "I love you too," he whispers, cupping your face in his hands and kissing you softly.
By now, Harrison has completely forgotten all about his bad day - his messed-up coffee order, his career disappointment, his photo shoot gone awry? They no longer exists.
Because you love him. And he loves you. That's all Harrison can think about right now. And it's all he ever wants to think about.
