Barely a second after the kiss began, Ridge was pulled back from me and pushed so hard his chair fell back with a loud crack.

I stood up to help him when two hands grabbed my shoulders. Hasan was holding me back with his iron grip. One of his hands lifted to my face and wiped my lips with his thumb lightly. I glared at him and removed his hands from me.

I held my hand out to Ridge and helped him up from the floor. He said he was okay when I asked if he was alright.

Hasan stepped forward and tried to get in between Ridge and I, but I pulled away from him and led Ridge outside. I asked if he wanted to take a walk with me. He said yes and we walked towards the park nearby.

I turned slightly to see Hasan standing right outside the door of the café with his hands clenched. Admitably it was an attractive look on him but he had attacked my new friend that was not going to be accepted!

Ridge and I walked around the park for a few minutes. The sun was just barely setting. We stopped and talked on a bench.

"Besides your overly protective boyfriend, this was fun." Ridge smiled.

"You thought he was my boyfriend?" I asked.

"Well I wasn't completely sure but after the kiss I definitely thought he was. So if he isn't your boyfriend, who is he?"

I thought for a second, "Someone from my past. Someone I thought would've forgotten about me."

"I don't see how that's possible..." He grumbled.

I turned to him and asked what he said but he just shook his head and laughed. "Nothing, Kynthia. Nothing at all."

After sitting in silence for a few more minutes he coughed to get my attention, "I think I should be going." He got up and held his hand out to me. I stood and shook it. "It was lovely meeting you." He said. He pulled out a small cloth and suddenly pressed it against my mouth as he held me tightly. "Does this rag smell like chloroform?" He whispered.

I didn't breath, I didn't struggle. If I struggled, it would make my body want to breath even more. I could hold my breath for five minutes and I was going to take advantage of those minutes and think of a plan. I was thinking of kicking him in the groin when there was a loud snarl from behind me.

Ridge looked over my head and snarled back. "You've had your chance. She doesn't even smell like you!"

Another snarl and then a ripping noise. Ridge let go of me and he transformed immediately. His large sandy wolf was attacked by a bigger black one with three horizontal stripes on it's back. Hasan.

I backed away and breathed deeply after I took the cloth off. Both wolves were going at it, nipping and clawing at each other. As they fought I saw that Ridge's wolf had a slight zig zag pattern of dark hair on its back. That explained his name.

Very quickly it became apparent that Hasan was going to win. He was landing more bites to Ridge than Ridge did to him. Hasan's wolf flipped Ridge over onto his back and barred his teeth. He was going in for the kill.

I ran to the wolves and sank to my knees in front of Ridge as Hasan was lowering his jaws. The way I landed, my head was in between Hasan's teeth slightly. He pulled back and stared at me.

"Don't kill him." I pleaded.

Hasan tilted his head to the side and narrowed his eyes. The look said, 'Why the hell would I not?'

"Spilling blood is never the answer." I raised my hands to his large wolfs jaw and lightly petted it. "Only monsters kill. Please don't be a monster." I whispered.

His head tilted into my hand and he seemed to nod.

I felt a wet heat at my calf that still laid in front of Ridge. I turned to see him lightly start biting me. I raised my hand. He looked at me and bit harder. I drew back and smacked his wolf hard on the nose. He yelped and let go of my leg.

I stood and grabbed Hasan's shirt which he must have taken off before the fight. I put it in his wolfs teeth and it trotted off to change. He was back in seconds and came over to me and checked me over quickly.

After he was sure I was okay, he turned to Ridge. "Shift." His voice gave me a slight tingle, especially with the demanding tone.

Ridge did as he lay on the ground. His body had small cuts over it that were starting to heal. I blushed when I noticed he didn't care to cover his manhood. I turned from him slightly and pretended not to notice.

"Thank you for sparing me." Ridge said.

I heard Hasan grunt and I simply nodded. Ridge noticed I wasn't looking at him realised he was naked. He laughed and said, "See anything you like Kynthia?"

I blushed hard and turned completely from him. Hasan growled and kicked Ridge in the side.

Hasan handed me a set of keys form the shredded pile that was once his clothes and told me to get his car. I did and he shoved Ridge inside it when I returned. He turned to me afterwards and opened the passenger door.

I waved him off, "I'm fine on my own." Then I thought about what just happened. I got in the car. Hasan closed the door and got in the drivers seat.

Hasan started driving and not ten seconds after Ridge said, "Are we there yet?"

I kind of snickered and heard Hasan sigh. "I do have duct tape, so you better shut your yap."

Ridge let out a 'humph' and I smiled. I kinda like this. Having the good; Hasan, the bad; Ridge, and the ugly; me. Sadly.
