The strong winds are getting stronger since the past few days. Jungkook has been attending school, not so much homework were stacking in his bedroom. Today was another cold and snowy day at school. Tired and lazy as always. Everytime he sat down on his chair, he can immediately sleep in place without the teacher knowing. Well, still not in a good condition. The sound of the crowd faded away. He could felt that the class is empty but who cares, he's still tired. Suddenly, he felt a hand on his shoulder. He looked up a little to see, Jieun, smilling at him. It made his heart flutter and the shade of red stuck on his cheeks.
"Feeling better?" She asked.
"Not really," he mumbled under his hand, resting on top of his desk. "My eyes wont cooperate with me everyday, I can't really focus in class."
"Okay then," she replied. "Well, besides that, today will be your lucky day!" She cheered, which made Jungkook himself a little confused. "I'll be staying at your place for a night or 2 so I can help Junghyun look out for you."
"You don't actually need to do that-"
"I also asked Yugyeom to help me a bit with this illness from you," she continued. Jungkook sighed. He wanted to tell her something but Jungkook afraid that she'll be offended by accident.
"Uhm, noona?" He called. "Not to offend you or anything but, why didn't Junghyun call Jaereum noona instead? You've been taking care of me for a long time since the first time we met and.. and I just feel really guilty for you looking after me because I'm sick.."
"Junghyun was going to call Jaereum but she has a family business to deal with at home," Jieun replied. "Me and Yugyeom and your brother will be helping you.."
"Oh.. Thanks, by the way, noona.."
"Yeah, you're welcome," she replied back. "I've also heard that your fever's getting worse." Jungkook could only chuckle at that fact. That annoying fact. He gets easily sick in these types of weather or season. The fact that he's fragile in these kinds of things. The white snow is starting to fill in the roads, sidewalks, parks, and many more. And it's starting to make Jungkook's sickness worse. He pursed his lips, resting his chin on his hand.
"Jungkook!" Someone called his name in front of the classroom door. "Let's go back home! The wind is crazy right now so we better get going rather then staying at school!"
Jungkook chuckled as he stood up. "Okay hyung, I'll be there.."
As they arrive in Junghyun's car, Jieun asked, breaking the silence in there. "So, Jungkookie, have you found a girl that you admire yet?" Jungkook swore he could hear his brother on the front seat fake coughing. "It's okay if you don't want to tell me about it, it's your personal secret after all."
The younger pressed his lips together, his eyes lookig away from Jieun. "Maybe I'll tell you that on Christmas, noona."
"Oh, okay," she smiled sweetly. Jungkook's heart melted immediately after he saw that sweet smile. Her lips are so kissable. Damn.
He just couldn't hold it anymore, he really want to kiss those lips, pressing them together as they tasted each other's lips. But he can't. Not now. Not yet. Have to wait until Christmas.. hopefully. Hopefully she'll accept his confession. Hopefully that she'll understand what he's feeling. Hopefully that she'll love him back. He wished that this year's Christmas will be the best Christmas ever. They arrived at Jungkook's and Junghyun's house.
"Oh yeah, where's Yugyeom?" Junghyun asked before unlocking the door.
"He told me that he'll be here a bit late," Jieun replied. An 'oh' came out from Junghyun's mouth as he unlock the front door. For the rest of the day, his brother and Jieun accompany Jungkook and kept him as warm as possible. Yugyeom came 30 minutes after they arrive home, bringing Mingyu and Minghao along with him. Taking care of the sick boy in winter isn't a bad idea at all. Overall it was fun.
The sun's getting down. Everyone except Jieun went back home. Jungkook looked up to the ceiling in his bedroom. "10 days before Christmas.." he mumbled. "I hope she'll understand what my heart's trying to tell her.."
He was laying down on the floor, eyes still on the ceiling. Suddenly, the door opened revealing Junghyun holding on to some hoodies. "Jieun just went back home, she didn't want to go up here afraid to disturb you."
Jungkook chuckled. The smile slowly dissapear from his face but turn into a small one. "Hyung," he called out in a soft tune. Junghyun hummed in respond then sat beside Jungkook who's still laying down on the floor. "Have you confess to a girl you really admire and she accept your confession?"
"What's with the sudden question?" Junghyun asked. "Is something bothering you?"
"No, nothing has bothered me recently," the younger replied. "I just, wanted to know and how you do it without getting all nervous and awkward.."
"Hm.. To be honest with you, I haven't liked a girl at school before, just friends or close friends," his brother reply, caressing Jungkook's soft hair. "At this rate, you should go and ask Minghao or maybe Yugyeom, maybe they know how."
"They're just a pair of crackheads who's acting all sweet in front of others but being all crazy and stupid in front of their friends," Jungkook laughed a little. Thinking about his friends, well, it's kinda funny how they both are the definition of weird. Welcome to Jungkook's world full of weird and imagination 24/7.
"If you want some advice from me then I'll have to say that I don't have a really good one but," Junghyun paused. "You should be brave and just directly reveal your feelings towards the girl that you like. Say something sweet or maybe talk slowly about it, don't be in a rush. Then you'll end it softly by maybe asking, 'will you accept my feelings towards you?' or something similar to that."
"Hehe, okay," Jungkook sat up and leaned back on Junghyun. "Thanks hyung, you're the best.." he said as he drift himself to sleep.
