Crystal was walking across one side of the streets, her eyes caught upon reading the sheets of paper within her hand, her bag dangling over on shoulder as the wind blew on her hair that she forgot to tie up. She carefully examined the letters scrambled on the white background of the print, her head torn in between focusing on her steps and the letters. She tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear, her lower lip tucked safely between her teeth.
Her Aunt was a twenty eight year old doctor, and as long as she could recall, she has been for over two years now. She never really mentioned what kind whenever they would talk about it, so Crystal doesn't really know how to find her in such a huge city. The only thing she had that could help her was the paper, telling her where the specific therapy center was.
It was sunday today and usually at weekends Crystal would be home watching television and reading her books, but earlier this afternoon she received a phone call from her Aunt, telling her to come by, vaguely mentioning something about helping her with her stuff; and as much as Crystal wanted to say no, she couldn't. So she got up from her bed and threw on the decent only shirt she had that wasn't in the hamper, and a skirt, which probably isn't the best choice, but Crystal loves skirts so she just went along with it.
Once she had arrived in the front building of the seemingly large clinic, she stood over the gate and held down the paper, reading the name of the establishment inside her head. "Saint Louis Therapy Clinic" Her Aunt never told her anything about being a therapist, she'd always thought she was a surgeon of some sort. But then again why would she even need to know that? Her Aunt can keep secrets if she wants to.
There were several cars parked across the grounds, a few people going in and out of the glass doors with their eyes burried in what ever they were doing. Crystal sighed and headed over to the entrance, pushing the heavly glass doors with all her might. As she got in, the cold air inside the building quickly brushed over her face, her sweat drying almost immediately. The inside of the clinic was as normal as it could get; there was an information desk in the middle of the lobby, waiting sheds, and television attached on the upper corner of the room. Everything was so white, she had to squint the second she came in.
The people in there wore civilian clothing, unlike the weird assumption she had that they would all be in white lab coats, stetoscopes wrapped around their necks. She looked in all of the corners of the lobby and still she didn't see her Aunt. The building was decently sized with at least three floors that she managed to count. Perhaps her Aunt was somewhere else, just waiting for her arrival.
Crystal reluctantly walked over to the information desk, where a guy was sitting behind the counter, facing in front of a computer, the light from fbe monitor shining over to his visage.
"Excuse me?" She called out tipping her toes to properly reach the counter, the guy immediately taking notice as he dropped what ever he was doing.
"Yes?" He stood up to her surprise,
"Where's the office of Linda O'Connel?"
