Part 8

I was the first one awake this morning, so I used that to my full advantage and helped myself to the first pick of the food, I was munching away on my lucky charms watching an old episode of dexter when I hear a rustling to my left, I turned to see vinny also helping himself to the lucky charms.
"So are you going to give me all your marshmallows or are you still not taking to me?" I ask him as he continues what he is doing, he sighs before walking over and sitting next to me, he then starts to sift out the marshmallows and put them into my bowl
"I still don't understand what mad man eats lucky charms but takes out the best part" I say, to which vinny just smiles at me.
I think this means we are friends again? I still don't know what that was all about yesterday.
Breaking the silence vinny speaks,
"Um so I, I'm sorry for yesterday, I didn't mean to act like that"
"It's okay vin we don't have to talk about it, we can just move on" I say with a smile, he just nods then we remain in comfortable silence whilst watching dexter.

Later that day.

"So Sophie today we have got a pretty big show so if it's okay with you could you help Maria before the show starts and at the beginning of the set on the merch table" Chris says whilst finishing his makeup,
"Yeah that's no problem" I lie
"Great, well we will all have to get going in a second" Chris says so the whole band can hear.

Whilst they were setting up equipment I went to help Maria with the table "hey Maria, do you need me to do anything to help?"
"Get me a drink?" Cheeky bitch,
"Yeah no problem, what would you like?" I say politely
"Low fat Iced coffee, with caramel" what does she think this is? Starbucks? We're at a fucking show where does she expect me to get that from?
"I'll see what I can do" I walk over to the food and drinks stand where Ricky seems to be waiting.
"Yo rick, what ya getting?" He turns around and smiles
"Coffee, what else do you expect me to be getting, I at least need my ten cups a day" he laughs
"Of course, Ricky's not Ricky without his coffee"
"Oh I'm a monster without, anyway what you getting?" He askes
"Oh just a fancy iced coffee for princess over there" I point towards Maria.
"Oh hah I see, what princess wants princess gets"
"Yeah that seems to be the way, I'm just going with it at the moment, I can't be bothered to argue with someone on tour" I say with a sigh.

"Yeah she is a challenge, that's what most of us do, just put up with it" Ricky says looking at Maria " Well I better go finish setting up, I'll let you get back to enjoying her company"
Great now I have to go back to her, I grab her coffee and walk back to the table

"About time" she says, cheeky bitch yet again
"Well at least it's iced coffee so it won't get cold" I joke while she takes a sip, she shows a disgusted look whilst putting the coffee down
"What's wrong?" I ask
"What do you think? This isn't low fat milk, I asked for low fat!" Fuck sakes.
"Sorry I thought I asked for it, I would get you another one but people are starting to line up" this is all killing me, I hate sucking up to people, it is talking everything in me not to slam her head against the fucking table, but I'm deciding to hold it all together for the rest of the team.
For the rest of the show I continued to work on the table, I really enjoyed it, it was so nice meeting all the different people.

As the show came to an end and everyone disappeared we began to pack away the stuff in silence until vinny, and Ryan came over.
"Sup bitches" Ryan says as he approached us, I laugh whilst Maria just stands there with her arms crossed.
"Sup Assholes', good show, well from what I could hear" I say
"Yeah it was sick tonight, the crowd was crazy" vinny says still clearly pumped from the show.
"Once your all packed up we are going back to the bus to get changed and then we are all going out for a tour family meal, if your both down?" Ryan says
"I'm always down for food, we will see you on the bus once we have finished packing up" I say as they walk away, I turn around to say something to Maria but she was already gone, what the fuck, she has left me to clear away all this mess!
