A few more days had passed and as I was now jobless and my best friend was not here I was beyond bored, don't get me wrong I love a good lazy day but when a lazy day turns into a lazy week that's when you start to go a bit crazy, just when I was about to venture outside I got a text.

Chris 🎤🤘🏼- hey Sophie I heard about you job vinny is gutted for you, I just wanted to ask you if you would like to be our photographer on tour as our old one quit as she was having a baby, you don't have to take the job but I would love you see you again as we haven't seen each other in a while, so what do you say, you want the job? X

Reply- omg, holy shit, no way I would love to be the band photographer, this is crazy 😜 sorry I'm getting a bit over excited here, but how would it work? X

Chris 🎤🤘🏼- that's great 😁 I'm glad your excited I don't like hearing that your upset, and we would just fly you over as soon as possible and you would join us on tour, there is even a free bed going and everything, but I haven't told vinny about this yet just in case you said no so do you want to tell him or shall I? X

Reply- that sounds great Chris I can get flights over whenever and can we not tell vin just yet and keep it a secret I want to suprise him x

Oh my goodness, I can't believe that this week has gone from absolutely shit to amazing so quickly. Not only am I going to be on tour with my favourite band and group of people but I am going to be doing something i love which is photography plus sharing this experience with one of my best friends doesn't seem so bad does it.
But suddenly one problem just hit me, my mother, when I was little my dad just abandoned me and my older brother tom, along with my mother for another woman and sadly a year later my mother got diagnosed with cancer and ever since then I swore not to leave her side even though she is luckily fighting it, so I decided to go round and visit her.
" hey mom"
"Oh hey sweetie, haven't seen you in a few days where have you been? Are you ok? Are you eating?"
" wow yes mom I'm fine stop worrying, well I do actually have some news to tell you though"
" well that's good but what is it?"
" um so I may have gotten fired, but wait, wait it isn't as bad as it sounds, another job opportunity has come across and I need your advice"
" oh no dear, well to be honest with you I didn't like how that job treated you but what is this new job?"
" you know Chris and his band right that vinny is touring with well he has asked me to join them and be their photographer"
" oh wow that is amazing news, so why do you need my advice with that?"
" well I didn't want to leave you behind that's all, now that tom has also moved away"
" don't be silly, don't worry about me I'm fine I just want you to enjoy your life that all i want and if that's you doing this job then that is what I want"
" thanks mom, so I guess that's that then, I'm going"

After our long chat I decided to go home, Chris had texted back saying that the flights had been booked for two days time so I decided to start packing I am so excited!
