Part 2

The next morning I slowly woke up but something didn't seem quite right, it was lighter outside that usual that's when I checked my phone and was shocked by the time it was 9:13am, fuck! I'm almost a hour late for work, I quickly shot out of bed chucked on my clothes, grabbed my bag with all my equipment and ran out the door, I must have drove like a maniac because when I got to work it was just 9:32am, you see I work for a fashion magazine and my job quite often varies as I am a photographer but I also do some part time modelling as well as help run some parts of the magazines.

Once I was inside the building I was greeted by a not so happy boss " nice to see you finally turned up Sophie" he sarcastically said, my boss Nigel is a part time boss but full time asshole and for some reason he seems to have it out for me, " yeah I'm so sorry, I don't know what happened my alarm didn't seem to go off I will make it up to you by..."
" shhh I don't want to hear it this is the fifth time this month that you are late and I said last time that if you are late once more that I will fire you"

" oh please don't this job is all I have I ..." he interrupted me once more
" I'm afraid that I am going to have to fire you Sophie so please clean out you desk and leave"
" fine whatever, but you know what you can go fuck yourself I have been here for 5 years I have worked my way up from the bottom but for some reason you still treat my like shit along with your other co workers, so for that reason I will happily leave" I don't quite know where that came from I guess it was from 5 years of built up anger but I felt proud for finally speaking my mind.
" I don't know who you this you are but I want to to leave the premises before I have to get you escorted out!"
"Gladly" and with that I grabbed my stuff and left.

As soon as I had gotten home and the adrenaline had faded I instantly regretted my sudden outburst, I now had no job. Shit. I instantly just broke down in tears, I just needed to speak to someone and the only person to pop in my mind was vinny.

Phone call

Vinny- hey soph, you alright?

Sophie- um no not really, I have just been fired from my dream job

Vinny- wait what? How come?

Sophie- well as you know lately I have been going through quite a lot you know with my mother being ill and all so I haven't really been with it so I may have turned up late to work a few times, and as my boss has something against me he just fired me

Vinny- what the fuck? What a dickhead, you want me to go over there and beat him up with my drum sticks? Cuz I will, even if I am on the other side of the world TRaP don't stop.

Sophie- *laughs* vin you do know how to make me feel better and yeah if you could do that it would be great thanks.

Our phone call went on for a few hours until it was time for him to go on stage. Vinny really has been there for me through everything I'm so glad I have him, we even made a pact that if we are both not married by the time that we are 40 the we will Marry each other just so we aren't lonely.
