Nandini's POV 

I watched Aaru doodling with her crayons on the white sheet with utter most concentration and making faces when she unable to draw as she desired. I took a long sip from my cup of coffee looking out side the window pane , finally after  heavy rains the sky is clear but clouds are still prominent and it was easy to trace some figures in them.

"Mumma is it good ??" Aaru asked showing me her sheet which had some beautiful small flowers draw on them.

" Yepp it's beautiful Aaru , keep is safe we will show this to papa okay " I said moving closer  and took her in my lap giving a small kiss on cheeks.

" Pr vo aayenge kab ??" Aaru asked the same question which she has been asking me since four days as he was out of country because of his work commitments .

"Aaj shaam ko baby " I replied cuddling her close to me and she did the same. "Want some cookies ??" I asked and soon she jumped in my lap up and down saying "yess yess yess".

" To chlo let's bake some cookies for you and Daddy " exclaiming i put her down on her feets and asked her to follow me.

"Mix it like this " I show Aaru how to mix the batter and asked her to do the same . She pulled the bowl between her legs and started mixing the batter , she actually looked cute sitting on kitchen Iceland, fingers glistening with chocolate batter and eyes shining like diamonds.

"Tooty frooty or choco chips " i asked as she finally looked at me rather than the batter.

"Both??" She questioned raising her eyebrows same like her  father , she reminds me of manik , he is such a foodie can't settle with one he wants each and every thing when it comes to food .

" As you say princess " I laughed on my own shades of dramatic and found Aaru do the same.

Finally after putting the contains in the oven I dusted my hand and settled myself beside Aaru and waited till the ting sound reached our ears. In between the Break I listened Aaru's blabbering and ate chocolates to our heart content.

Munching some hot  cookies we both laughed as the taste hit our test buds damn it's hot and sweet at the same time.

"Mumma hum papa ko lene chle ??" The picture was no different again Aaru was in mid of bundles of papers fingers painted in red yellow green and what not. With her one eyebrow high she asked cutely displaying her pearls.

"Hum papa ko surprise denge " she exclaimed rubbing her hands in excitement which eventually make me smile.

"No Aaru let him come by himself what if he get angry seeing us in crowed " explaining her is something most difficult work according to me , but I tried.

"Nhi na mumma please please " she requested as she come closer to me and taking the magazine threw it away and pulled my hands in attempt to make me stand.

"You are becoming too stubborn Aaru , I'll complain about it to manik "I said making my posture stiff but eventually agreed seeing her excitement and now disappointment in her eyes.

Picking the magazine from floor I dusted it though there was absolutely no dust but I have to do it after all the cover boy of the magazine is none other than Manik.
