When we are together

I pushed him back to see how much he can resist

He pulled me closer to doubt whose perfume I carry

Manik's POV

During autumn trees leave all there leafs not because they are drained out or exhausted rather for the new one coming to adore the trees with their fresh aura. Same like a mother do sacrificing not because she have to but for the betterment of her babies in all aspects. Ironically we only realize it when we need them close to us but once we lost them for forever we understand the value of the their existence.

' I love you Mom , I wish I have confessed it to you before as many time as I could , I wish I could tell you how much I miss you and need you cause no one can replace you in my life ,no one. ' I looked at Nandini at 3 in night still sitting beside a sleeping Aaru with her one hand over her head and other one entwined with the little ones. Nandini reminds me of mom , the same care and fear in her eyes for me , Aaru is blessed that she has a mother like Nandini.

"Nandini sleep it's already very late " I said and got up from the couch and sit  near her. "We need to wake up early Nandini so now enough of your tears , come sleep " I continued but even after that she didn't moved her eyes from Aaru , placing my hands on her shoulder I made her lay down beside me and closed her eyes with my palm.

"Everything will be fine right ?" She questioned looking directly at me , the fear is clearly evident in her eyes but she tried to cover it up.

" Nothing is permanent Nandini even this time , it will pass away " I replied shifting more close to her but before I could engulf her in my embrace she herself wrapped her hands around me.

" I don't want to go anywhere manik , leaving you guys behind , I won't be able to survive it , I won't go to police station " . She mumbled with her shivering lips.

"We need to face them  Nandini , u needed time and I gave it to you but tomorrow I want my  old Nandini back , when we are together , we can face it all so why this fear " I muttered near her ears decreasing the little distance remaining between us.

"Manik...but I didn't do anything wrong ,...they they were pulling Aaru hars.. harshly .. her arm turned red , crying .. she was , I didn't wanted to rise m.... My hand but it ..  it just happened.... I don't know how but " I stopped her in mid placing my fingers over her lips while she was , sobbing , hiccuping with her choking voice.

" Did for once I told you that you look terrible when you cry Murty " I chuckled on her reaction but continued "like a rabbit with red noes , and yaah a potato face too " I commented and got rewarded with a strong slap on my shoulder.

"Manik ... I'm talking something serious and you " she said giving me those deadly glares but who cares.

" Okay so in your language let's talk something serious... So firstly Murthy I didn't for once told you that you did something wrong , so I clearly make myself clear here that you are not at any fault. Secondly , you did what any mother will do in such situations and lastly , just have faith on me everything will be handled well if we are together , you are getting me right " she nodded her head in yes calming my nerves.

" So for now close your eyes and prepare yourself cause I won't lie Nandini but it's not gonna be easy " I looked at her reaction which are way far better than her previous one , shaking her head she hide her face in my arms , I felt her body relaxing under my touch and I know she felt the same and soon she was asleep in my arms.

Nandini's POV

"Manik let's go back if Aaru wake up and  doesn't find us near her she will freak out " I said clutching his hands in mine .
