I pull, I tug, but I'm out of luck.
Someone find me a way out, why can't anyone hear me shout ?
Just five more minutes, I tell myself.
Five more minutes, I am convinced of it.
Why me? Why? I pray.
As my world fades to a dull gray.
Shame fills me, guilt fills me.
Violated my integrity.
Now what am I to be?
I try and dream of a happy place,
My thoughts a wild basket case.
I wake, sweat pouring, heavy breathing.
It was a nightmare, I sigh.
But was it fair ?
My worst fear,
Turned to a real,
Stuck on repeat,
Without a defeat.************************************************************************************************************
