You returned to your work desk, stupid grin on your face. When you sat down, Melanie walked toward your desk.

"Hey Y/N," - she greeted, noticing your stupid smile. - "What's going on?"

You laughed a little, shaking your head. - "Nothing special."

She looked at you, trying to figure what was going on, but she thought it was just that you will start to work with the studio, you had told her how you always wanted work on with a project there. And now you finally got the change.

"Okay, so, are you coming to that party in the weekend?" - she asked, fizzling the papers in her hands. One of her friends had a party, and Melanie asked you to go there with her. And you had accepted the offer, and now when she reminded you of that party, you figured it would be the perfect place to celebrate your new job.

"Absolutely!" - you smiled widely, grabbing your phone and opening the calendar. - "Saturday at six, right?" - you checked from her, making an event to your calendar.

"Yes, six o'clock, maybe we should go somewhere before it to have one drink before we head to the party?" - she asked, you returning her gaze.

"That is excellent plan Mel." - you smiled, putting down your phone. - "Just send me a message where to meet you."

Melanie nodded to you and continued her way in the office.

You turned to look at the screen, feeling really good and you chose that now you need to finish your sketch, so you could start the next week with something to working on with Harry when you have already the sketch.

So you opened your mac and started working, excited for the incoming week to come.

On the Saturday night, after having few drinks in the city, you and Melanie finally arrived at the party her friend had. There were lots of people in the rental party space, disco lights were straight from the 80's and there were lots of different kind of snacks on the tables, small bar on the corner of the room.

Melanie went to the bar to grab you some drinks, while you looked the crowd of people, to see if there happened to be any familiar face beside Melanie.

"Hey, I got us some margaritas." - Melanie handed you the glass, you smiled at her and tipped your glass with her.

"Let's have some fun shall we?" - you asked, sipping your drink while Melanie nodded, looking around the crowd too.

The music was perfect, your hips started to shake a little in the beam of the music, while you and Melanie stood in one of the high tables.

"I just wish I would get the permanent job already." - Melanie sighed and you tilted your head.

"Honey, you know is hard to get it. Just be patient, show them you are a hard worker and eventually they offer you the job."

"I know but..." - she started talking, but when someone landed new glasses of drinks on the table, both of your head snapped to the person who put them down.

"You pretty ladies looked like you needed more drinks." - the English accent was strongly emphasized from the man's speech, and when you finally looked at his face, you noticed it was a familiar face.

"Harry." - you smiled at him gently, drinking the rest of your margarita and putting the empty glass on the table.

"What are you doing here?" - you asked, seeing how he had a tight black t-shirt on him, and now you noticed how muscular his chest actually was. When you had seen him, he had a loose shirt on him, so you didn't notice it before.

You figured that since he and Sam were best friends, maybe they went to the gym together? You knew what kind of muscles Sam was hiding under his suit shirt and vest.

Hope filled your chest. Was Sam here too? You felt how your stomach twirled when that idea crossed your mind.

"My friend Eddie knows these people and he asked me come with him." - he said, gulping the beer in his hand, and you felt how your chest clenched a little for the information that he wasn't here with Sam.

You the glass of drink Harry had just put the front of you to the table, taking a sip from it.

When you felt how the liquor burned your throat, you frowned and put your hand on your throat.

"Lord, this is one strong drink." - you sizzled when the booze burned your gut. Harry laughed, placing his hand on the small of your back.

"Like I said, you pretty ladies looked like you needed a drink." - you turned to meet his gaze, seeing his face being really close to yours, his hand smoothing softly your back.

Melanie looked at you two small frown on her face, as you turned to look at her.

"Melanie, this is Harry Flynn, he's the animator of the studio."

"And Y/N's partner." - Harry laughed, offering his hand to Melanie, who took it and shook it firmly.

"Yea, working partner." - you hit playfully his chest with your hand. - "I will be working with him most of the time." - you explained to Melanie, who looked little mad that Harry bumped up at your table.

"So, looking forward to working with us?" - Harry asked, gulping his own beer as he looked at you, his hand still on the small of your back. You bit your lip a little, roaming his face with your eyes, and when Harry noticed it, he winked at you.

You smiled and turned to take a sip of your drink, even more, confident that there was some kind of "boys competition" between Sam and Harry.

You licked the liquid away from your lips while putting the glass down from your hand, turning again to meet Harry's gaze.

"You have no idea." - you said with a deep voice, staring deep into his eyes, a small smile on your lips. You saw how Harry's pupils widened before he clicked his tongue against his teeth.

"I'll guess we'll see on monday then." - he said, you nodded to him, as he wished you two a nice evening, slowly disappearing into the crowd, as you and Melanie looked after him.

"He seems womanizer." - Melanie puffed as she drank rest of her drink, before taking the one in her hand what Harry had just bring to her.

"Maybe. But I won't do anything with him." - you told her, the smile never fading away from your face.

"Well, that didn't look like it." - Melanie said, and when you heard her tone, your brows knitted together when you looked at her.

"I know the office romances are not allowed, but I can flirt with him, right?" - you asked her, seeing how she shrugged her shoulders while sipping her drink.

You sighed as you turned to look at the dance floor again.

You knew it was not allowed. And it was even less permissible when it was the boss you had landed your eyes on.
