A daughter?
He has a daughter?
Why he didn't mention about her?
Was he single father?
No, he couldn't be, he wouldn't leave his daughter while he was fucking some waitress in his office.
Or was he in a relationship?
Was he still with her mother?
No, he couldn't be.
Because would mean that he was cheating on her.
All kind of questions ran through your mind when you stared that little girl on Sam's lap.
"Cassie, you had met all of these guys." - Sam pointed all of you while leaning his head little over her shoulder until his finger was pointing at you.
"She is Y/N. She is the newest member of the team."
You smiled softly when Cassie looked at you with a shy face, keeping one of her fingers in her mouth.
"Y/N, this is Cassie, my niece."
Your smile grew a little to the fact that she wasn't his. Of course she wasn't, he would not leave mentioned about his daughter.
The door got open again, as Elena walked inside with pack of color pencils and coloring book in her hands.
"I'm so sorry Sam, if she is bothering I can.." - Elena started but Sam raised his hand and Elena shut her mouth, giving him the book and pencils.
"She won't, and you know it." - was all he said, placing the book on the table, Cassie opening it, grabbing the green pencil and starting to color the pages.
Elena and Nathan left the room, your team continuing the meeting, while little Cassie was sitting in her uncle's lap, coloring her book.
You couldn't stop glancing at Sam and his niece, they looked absolutely adoring. And it looked like it happened before, Cassie leaning little above the table, coloring the pictures while Sam made notes to his papers while he talked with his workers, once in a while looking over that tiny head, telling her what color she should use next.
When the meeting was over, you stayed in the room to write down some notes to yourself, Harry fooling around with Cassie while she sat on the table, swinging her little legs in the air, when Sam went to visit his office.
You were about to put your papers to your fold when you heard a tiny voice.
"Did you draw that?"
When you looked up, you saw Cassie sitting on the table, her legs now on it too, as she looked at your newest sketch.
"Yea, I made it with computer." - you smiled, noticing how inside that little girl's head was clearly puzzles trying to get together.
"You can draw with computer?" - she finally asked, you nodding as an answer.
"Yea, is hard but if you practice a lot, it will get easier."
Cassie turned a little, took her coloring book, fidgeting the pages with her small hands, finally opening the page she was coloring through the meeting.
"I colored this." - she said proudly, showing you the picture of teddy bear, which was sitting in a swing, which was hanging on the branch of the tree.
You looked at it, seeing how she had colored the bear with blue color, as she had tried to draw four birds on it's stomach.
"It's uncle Sammy. Because he likes big bear hugs." - Cassie giggled, and you heard how Harry snorted hard, trying to hold his laugh.
