It was finally monday, your first day in the studio, what you have been waiting for so long. You woke up early, took a long and nice shower and drank your morning coffee in peace in the kitchen, stupid smile on your face.
Normally you went to Evelyn's bakery to buy your morning coffee, drinking it on your way to work, but this morning was different.
Your smile grew when you remember how Evelyn hugged you when you told her that you got the job from studio section, and how she told you how proud she was.
You sip your coffee while thinking the upcoming day. You will gonna have a meeting at ten with all the workers who are working on the project.
You already met Harry and Chloe, the rest of the team not. But those two were those who you are going to work with.
You sip your coffee and took a deep breath. This was a dream coming true. You didn't want to blow it off. But you were confident, you knew your work was amazing - of course they were, you worked hard to get here where you were now.
You looked at the clock on the kitchen wall. It was just eight thirty, there was still time but you finished your coffee, grabbed your stuff and left to work, you couldn't wait anymore.
At the office, you made a quick visit to your desk, before heading to the studio.
When you opened the door in Harry's room, you saw a brand new Mac on the table, with red ribbon on it, note and a bouquet of flowers on the vase next to it.
You smiled as you stepped closer, taking the note in your hand and opening it.
'Welcome to your new project. I hope you enjoy your time here.
- Sam.'
You felt how your cheeks started to heat when the slight layer of blush started to cover them of the gesture Sam made to you for your first day. You put the note down and leaned down to smell the fresh flowers on the vase.
"Oh, you are already here." - you turned around when you heard that familiar English accent talking behind you, seeing Harry leaning the doorframe and looking at you with a smile.
"Morning Harry." - you greeted him, putting your bag down to the chair.
"Boss said there are all the software's ready what you are going to need while you work here." - Harry walked next to you, putting down his phone and keys to the table, looking at your brand new Mac.
"How does he know what software's I'm using?"
"I guess he asked Kathryn."
Of course he did, you thought, taking the ribbon from the Mac, and putting it on Harry's chest.
Harry looked down at the ribbon, then back at you.
"It suits you." - you smiled.
Harry laughed while taking the ribbon away from his chest, putting it on your hair.
You giggled and touched the ribbon as you tried to look up to see it.
"Suits you better." - you returned his gaze after his words, both of you just staring each other.
Finally, Harry cleared his throat and broke the eye-contact, while you took the ribbon away from your hair, putting it down next to the note.
"So, nervous?" - he asked, opening his Mac, the quiet hum of it filling the room.
"Not at all." - you told him, checking the time, realizing that soon it was time to meet the rest of the team.
"Don't worry love, you fit here perfectly."
