My eyes are about to fall out of my sockets. I've watched twelve hours of this Doctor Who thing. It's better than I thought.

It was 7:00 A.M. I should be waking up for our daily lessons right now.

Instead I was watching a middle aged man from outer space blast aliens out of the sky on the laptop, with a snoring girl leaning on my shoulder. Great use of time.

A phone. It rang. I startled me and Jaehee. Her laptop that was balancing on my knees nearly tumbled off the bed, but I caught it.

Jaehee, on the other hand was not so lucky. As I reached over to grab the laptop, my shoulder knocked her head off and she spun right off the bed.

At least the laptop is safe. I was always told that I was better with technology than actual life forms.

"I'M ALRIGHT THANKS FOR ASKING!" she called from below. Once she got up, she checked her phone to see who called her. Her face paled.

"Who called?" I asked.

"Um. Don't worry about it. I'm not gonna pick up. I'll just talk to him in person later," she hesitantly placed her phone down and rushed into the bathroom.

"Okay.." I said, not really talking to anybody at the moment. The troubling thing about sharing a bathroom was that you have to wait for the other person.

I decided to wait for her by unpacking some of my belongings.

I unpacked few outfits until my suitcase was empty, except for my laptop case.

My laptop is my only prized possession. Most people would think it's average for a teenager like me to be obsessed with technology and social media, but my intentions are far more complicated than a regular teenager's.

A question popped into my head. Who is Han Jaehee?

I turned on my laptop, which automatically connected to school WiFi. Nope. I don't need the authorities banging on my front door wondering why I have their information.

Instead, I connected to my private network. I opened the software that had been designed by my old friend.

I clicked the search bar and typed in, Han Jaehee

Han Jaehee:

There were too much Han Jaehees to sift through. I narrowed the results down.

Han Jaehee: (Age 15-20)

None of the pictures looked like the person I had just met.

My eyebrows furrowed. There is a Han Jaehee right?

The program could be faulty. Maybe it hasn't updated in a while.

Who am I kidding. I didn't expect my life here to be any more normal than it was at Japan. I just didn't expect meeting a criminal on my first day.

With my luck, I'll have to move back to Japan.

I hope somebody in this genius camp found a way to live on Mars. At my rate, I'll have to move there by next year.

I heard a knock on my door. I closed my laptop and got off my bed to answer it. But before I could, Han Jaehee came rushing out of the bathroom with a towel around her head.

She was fully dressed thankfully, but was pulling on socks and had a toothbrush stuck in her mouth.

"No, no, no, no....ughhh!" she muttered under her breath as she threw the towel off her head and tidied her hair to look somewhat presentable.

The knock on my door got louder. The guest sounded angry and I was about to go open the door and scream at them.

Then I remembered I just woke up. A minute or so ago. I probably looked like a homeless person.

Oh well.

"I'll get it," I rolled my eyes and rushed to the door, having an annoyed expression laid out on my face.

"NO! I can get it myself. Please don--"

Her voice was interrupted by my opening of the door, and an uninvited guest came rushing in.

A guy? Shoot. I was dressed in sweatpants and a t-shirt. Attractive. He seemed like Jaehee's boyfriend though.

"What are you doing here," his voice sounded annoying, much like his endless knocking. My eyes rolled yet again.

"I live here," my obvious statement must of angered him somehow.

His handsome face turned into a smirk. "Is my girlfriend here?" he asked.

"No."

"Oh. Then it's just us. Alone. In a room with a bed in it. Get it?", his eyebrows wiggled.

"If you don't shut up, the only bed you'll be lying in is a coffin," I threatened.

He erupted in laughter. "I'm just joking bro."

I raised an eyebrow and welcomed him into our lovely home. He then saw his girlfriend who seemed more than happy to see him.

"I'll give y'all some time alone. Imma go shower," I said, getting up from my spot.

As I was getting ready to go inside, another knock on the door interrupted my slight feeling of relaxation.

"Airplane Guy? What are you doing here?"

I'm Jaehee came into view as I opened the door. "Who's Airpla--"

Her face paled significantly, but her face hardened, as if she had just seen the person who ruined her life. "Get out of my home," she threatened. It seems as if this person had ruined her life.

"I--I uh I was assigned to be your partner," he says to Jaehee, obviously avoiding eye-contact.

"I said get out of my home. I already have a partner, my lovely boyfriend, Kwon Taejoon."

Oh so that's his name. I dislike him already. I have a bad feeling about him.

"Oh..okay, I'll be going then. See you 'round Airplane Girl," he looked rejected and obviously unhappy about something.

"Wait, bro, what's a partner for?" I asked, stopping him from walking out the door.

"Every person is assig--" he started.

"Don't listen to that liar. He'll just lie to you like he always does," interrupted Jaehee with a breaking voice. My head turned to see Taejoon comforting her in his embrace. These people have quite a bit of problems.

I had barely woken up and there's already this drama between an unknown girl and somebody who had lied to her.

I quietly broke the tension, by stepping into the bathroom to take a shower. I could finally do something useful.

I already know it's gonna be a long day.
