I was shocked to the point where I had frozen in place.

Jaehoon....is here?

"Can I see him?" I blurted, secretly hoping the answer would be yes.

If Jaehoon was in this prison, he had a lot of explaining to do.

Jisung looked over at a security guard with uncertainty. The guard nodded, with a lack of any other motion. Ria started fidgeting with her nails, painted a deep red, much like blood.

"Y-Yeah, I mean he is allowed guests right?" Jisung said, looking over at guards.

"Careful. Deadly," the guard said, again with no motion other than his mouth moving up and down.

Yeah I know, thanks anyways, bro.

I was brought to a desk, with a lady sitting at it. She didn't seem to notice our presence. Her feet were up on the table, showing her toenails that were apparently freshly painted.

"--so the other day, this kid was here, asking to see somebody in the jail. Like, one of the bad ones--look don't tell anybody, but we're holding Lee Donghyuk in here. Yeah, the infamous hacker. I heard from Hani, that this guy's girlfriend sold him out to the authorities. And she was a hacker too."

"Ahem," I cleared my throat, not wishing to intrude on the conversation.

The lady's eyes lifted from her phone, and met mine. They were a bit startled, or surprised.

"Oh! There's a visitor. I'll call you later, Soo," she immediately hung up, and removed her feet from the desk, yet not bothering to put her shoes back on, for her toenails were still wet.

Her name-tag read, Park Chaerin.

"What can I do for you? Or who would you like to meet?" her lipstick-coated lips moved to form words that formed a question, that I was still hesitant to answer.

"Park Jaehoon," Jisung said, relieving me of the impossible duty of saying a simple name.

"R-right this way, ma'am," she got up, and carefully put on some beach flip-flops. I couldn't stop staring at her toenail color. It was a deep red, much like Ria's fingernails. They probably share.

Jisung accompanied me, although I insisted it was unnecessary.

"This cell right here. Good luck with him. I heard he's a fighter!" she whispered in my ear, and walked off in a speedy, rushing way. As if she was scared. Her nail polish might be messed up though.

"Wait up!" I called after her. She turned around, "Yes?" she asked, with a questioning look on her face.

"Lee Donghyuk's girlfriend was actually a bakery owner, and most definitely not a hacker. She was completely innocent," I said. Her face was surprised, and guilty because of the fact that I had heard her gossiping. I was surprised she didn't question me, or my words.

I turned around, focusing on the skinny, limp body sitting on one of the beds. Well, more like a block of cement with a blanket on top, much different than a bed.

"Ahem," I cleared my throat, to announce my presence. His back was turned to me, so he had no idea I was here. Unless he was as good as he used to be. But I doubt it.

"Listen, I don't want more food, so stop trying to feed me your cra--"

"Shut up and listen will you?" I interrupted, not wanting to listen to his rant about crappy food. He probably thought I was a guard or something.
