Outside the hospital

{Prentiss POV}
I put on my final coat of mascara, as i batted my eyes at the mirror. Flawless. I took out my nude lipstick and reapplied it on, first on my bottom lip, then on the top lip. Gorgeous. I took all of my makeup from the counter and stuffed it down my purse, went to unlock the bathroom door and stepped out of the room, getting an evil stare from a girl. She looked 16 and was dressed up like a prostitute, she looked drunk, but her leg had a long stitch, from her ankle to her thigh.

I ignored her and went straight to Garcia's room. JJ, Rossi and Reid were there, with Morgan but no sign of Hotch.

"You know where Hotch is?" Reid asked

"Um, no."i answered. a few minutes ago, we were all here, reassuring Garcia, until Hotch got a phone call and excused himself from the group.

"Well, where is he? I don't want him to miss this!" Garcia asked. She had been given painkillers and was starting to fall asleep.

"Its ok, he's gonna be here on time." Morgan reassured, stroking her arm that dint have a million tubes attached to it.

"Ill go find him." I said. I walked out of the room and thought that he could be outside.

I went to the elevator and walked rapidly to the entrance. I stepped outside and saw the beautiful Hawaii sunset. Orange sky with a big yellow sun, the water was blue and there were people outside, some holding hands, some laughing and some talking, but they were all smiling and happy. My thoughts were interrupted by Hotch's voice.

"Im glad you came." he said, with a smirk. Even though he had a lot of confidence in his attitude, he seemed a bit nervous.

"What?" i looked down to check my phone and saw two texts from Hotch that i had missed. "Well, im here. So, what, um, do you want?" i asked.

"I just needed someone to talk to, about, life."

"About... Beth?"

"Sorta, yeah."

"Alright, you don't even sound like yourself, you sound almost excited."

"Do I?"

"You do."

We both laughed a bit for a second. Its quite hard to make Hotch smile, and i was the only one in the team who could do that in a snap. And i loved it.

"Alright, what about Beth? You still love her?" i asked, trying my best to hide my disappointment.

"I was relieved that she cheated on me, because i planed on breaking up with her." he answered, the excitement in his voice still there.

"Why?"

"Because," he turned around, brush his hand through his hair, sighed and turned back at me "because i love you."

Before i could say anything, i felt his lips land on mine.
